Great Workout Rower – and even Better Customer Service
I’ve had the PooBoo rower for 18 months now. The workout I get on the rower is really good – but I personally would like the resistance setting to be about 25% greater than the max currently allowed. [But for most people, I think the max setting would be enough as it is for my wife] To compensate for the lower resistance – I can easily just pull harder or increase my cadence to get a more rigorous workout when I want/need one. The motion is absolutely very smooth and fairly quiet. The only real noise comes from the seat moving back and forth – but it is not too noisy. I do prefer a slightly wider grip when rowing than the handle allows – so I simply cut 1-1/2″ ABS pipe – 12″ long and slipped over the original handles. I wrapped velcro strapping at 3 locations on the handles to act as shims for the 1-1/2″ pipe. [see pictures]The assembly was amazingly VERY SIMPLE. It was well documented, the tools/nuts/bolts were all vacuum sealed on a piece of cardboard and assorted / labeled by steps. The tools are adequate for assembly but using a ratchet/socket tool makes the assembly go faster.I recently noticed a small amount of an oily substance directly below the enclosed flywheel mechanism. I wrote to the service email located on the back of the monitor control panel and within a day – customer service reached out to me. They [Koala], explained that my rower was out of the 1-year warranty – but NO PROBLEM – they were going to send out a new “ribbon flywheel”. But before doing so, they sent me a YouTube video describing how to change out the “ribbon flywheel” and asked if was able to do the the replacement myself. The replacement appears VERY straightforward. The replacement part is now in the process of being sent.The rower was used for about 80-100 hours during the 18 months before I noticed the small oil patch.I have used the rower for about 10 hours following the discovery of the oily substance – and there doesn’t seem to be any difference in the resistance or smooth rowing motion.The PooBoo rower provides a great workout, at a really reasonable price [$275 when I bought it] and with great customer service. PooBoo definitely provides a winning product through and through. I recommend it highly.

Really well made
I bought this particular rowing machine because it had a large rectangular center beam that I thought looked very strong (and it is). The whole thing seems well designed, and the hardware all fit perfectly. It only took about an hour to put together (including unpacking). All the needed parts were there, including the tools needed for assembly.I love my exercise bike that Iâve used for years and has the same magnetic drive that is very smooth and quiet. The rollers for the seat have sealed bearings and thick covers. It looks like they used really good quality parts where it counts.I put the batteries in the computer, and it works, but I couldnât care less about that part. My stopwatch and the adjustable tension of the rower are all I need.Iâm 5â-9â and the beam that the seat rides on is plenty long enough and strong enough for someone about 2″ -3″ taller. I think the price is quite a bargain for this machine.The only negative I see, is that the resistance is not that strong. It’s fine for me for cardio, but if someone needs very strong resistance, this isn’t it. But, overall, I’d give it an A rating.

Stop looking and just buy this!
I spent so much time reading reviews and trying to decide on which row machine to buy. Ultimately I decided on this one because of the overall good reviews and the price. Iâm so glad I did. I love this machine and so does my husband and our two teenage boys. Itâs a great workout. Itâs easy to put together (I even did it myself to try to give my hubby a break). It rolls easy on the wheels and is quiet enough to roll into the living room and do it while we watch TV if we want. Which I do often cause I tend to go longer with some distraction. It is also easier to store since you can set it upright and leave it like that. We are very happy with this purchase. The only thing I will say is Iâve not quite figured out the display, but I havenât tried too hard because I rely on my garmin watch for any workout feedback. Iâm sure if I took the time to mess with it I would be able to understand it better. I absolutely 100% recommend this machine.

Great Rower for the Price
I like it! The tension can be adjusted to provide a good workout and it’s super sturdy. Following a suggestion from another reviewer, I fastened a set of crocs into the foot pedals, so I don’t have to put shoes on to use it… makes it so easy to jump right in and get to rowing.I would have rated 5 stars but the glide on mine is a tiny bit “unsmooth” so I can hear a repetitive, bump bump bump noise that’s coming from the track of the seat on the rail. I read reviews of how quiet it is, so I was a little surprised that I got the one that’s making a little noise, but no worries. The other thing that is a bit annoying is the design of the wheels on the front – either they don’t work, or they are so small that they don’t work on carpeting… I’m not sure which.

Very good quality for the price!
After falling in love with the heavy duty rowing machine at the cardiac rehab gym, I decided I wanted one for home. I spent quite awhile combing through reviews of machines within a price range I could afford before deciding to purchase this one. My whole family loves this rower. It took about 30 minutes to put together, without any issues. It’s quiet, very smooth, and offers good resistance. We store it upright and out of the way, but it’s very easy to maneuver. We pull it out and use it daily. Very happy with the quality and hope it will continue to serve us well.

Great Rower!
POOBOO has great home exercise equipment. I purchased this rower due to the past purchase of 2 POOBOO FITNOW indoor cycling bikes (one for me and one for my girlfriend). They are exceptional quality and we both love them. The rower is the same quality and is very sturdy, and easy to assemble. The resistance setting is easy to set and provides a good workout. The seat slides on the rail smoothly and is quiet. The seat could have a little more padding but not a problem. I love my rower and highly recommend it!
