Getting rid of plastic food storage containers!
I purchased this set of ten 30-oz Komuee glass food storage containers as well as another set of 12 of various sizes from the same vendor to replace all of the plastic storage pieces I had been using. They all came well packed and unbroken. I checked the lids and all were functioning correctly. I was able to stack this set of 10 into 4 piles with a container to hold the lids inside a lower pullout cabinet in my kitchen with room left over for a few already owned items I planned to keep. The second photo shows the plastic items I am discarding from the same cabinet (I still have another box to discard later after I use up the food in the fridge and freezer still in plastic containers.) These seem to be of good quality but I will update my review after using and cleaning them a few times.

    These containers are absolutely phenomenal! I have ordered THREE cases of them in all! Once I saw how great they were personally, I ordered a case for each of my two sons. They are a good size for taking a decent-sized lunch to work. No risk of leaking–the rubber gasket inside the lid keeps everything air tight and leak-proof. The gaskets can be removed for washing, but then easily slip right back into their groove inside the lid–good as new. They are very easy to wash either by hand or in the dishwasher. They are made of great quality–and very affordable at $4 per container. I couldn't be happier with them and recommend them highly! Once my daughter moves out, I will buy a case for her, too!

    Nice Storage Bowls

    These little food storage bowls are my first step to getting away from plastics. They are a great size for storing leftovers, are easily stackable to save space in the fridge and seal nicely to keep the food fresh.

    When cleaning them for the first time, I noticed the rubber gasket is easily removable, which allows for proper drying and avoiding any mold to grow.

    My fridge looks a lot nicer without the ugly plastic bowls crammed in it and my cupboard has more space, because these stack inside each other. I kept one plastic container to store the lids.

    I haven’t had them long enough yet, to comment on how fresh the food stays and I don’t meal prep as I am retired, but I will return with a different review if I think there is any reason to insert a complaint.
