I bought this Boswell product hoping it could replace a Ninja grill/air fryer multi cooker. The Ninja product is a very good product, and it does grill steaks. But it is a lot of work to clean after using it whether you’re grilling or air frying or doing anything else. Because of this, I rarely use it anymore, and, very annoyingly, it takes up a lot of counter space.

So I’m happy to have this Boswell product to grill my steaks and for air frying. Grilling a steak is one of the most desired functions I wanted next to air frying. Grills better than the Ninja grill, and better than a George Foreman grill that turned out to be a huge disappointment due to substandard manufacturing.

The seller has provided excellent customer service via Amazon messaging to guide me through the process of learning to grill a steak in this Boswell cooker, which I copied and pasted into a note on my phone for easy reference. The steak turned out ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.

And this Boswell cooker is so easy to clean! I just let it cool off completely after cooking, fill it with warm water to soak with the stainless steel cooking rack in it and it cleans right up, or I rinse the glass cooking bowl and rack and put them in the dishwasher.

It’s going to take up much less space on my counter than the Ninja grill and that is another huge benefit of this Boswell cooker. I hope longevity turns out to be another one of its virtues, but I see no reason why not as I won’t be trying to use it outside of its normal cooking functions.

Great cooker, easy to use, cooks things quickly and well, and excellent customer service. Well worth the price. Love it!

My first experience with an air fryer was my parent's fairly old Ninja. It was always stored in the pantry and not used much. We used it for a couple of times when I would visit and before I would go back home it went back into the pantry closet as it was heavy and had several pieces.

When shopping for myself I knew I didn't want something that had a lot of parts.. I went to stores and looked at many Teflon coated air fryers and I knew I also didn't want that.

After doing a lengthy amount of research i found the Boswell. I am so glad that I waited and didn't just go with the first thing that was around. I really appreciate the glass cooking pot body. It is easy to clean and I can see how the food inside is cooking. Also, no toxic coated chemicals for the food to come in contact with.

The only thing I would caution about is that the part of the handle that touches the glass can get hot at the higher temps. But the manufacturer obviously knows this because they include an oven mitt (and some skinny tongs). For me the ease of cleaning the glass pot is worth the trade off.

I could tell that my Boswell was an open box item. But I was so thrilled with how it works I'm keeping it anyway. I used it twice on the first day I got it. So far this is a great product.

Love that this product is non-toxic. Heats food well but I have noticed that the crisp is not quite the same as with the standard Air-fryer. It’s not bad, the texture is just a little different from what I’ve experienced previously.
While it’s easy for me to use I am a little cautious in having my children heat food in it. The glass gets really hot and also, it’s glass.
Looks-wise, it’s really pretty. I’ve received a lot of compliments on it.
Overall, this this definitely a high quality healthier option.

I meant to share this review earlier. If people are considering an air fryer this holiday season, this Boswell has been a dream for me. As a senior citizen, I hate to warm up small portions in a big oven. This Boswell air fryer plus a toaster oven have helped me avoid that problem. I snapped up this fryer at the end of June on sale. I wasn't sure the fryer would benefit me greatly, but I wanted one with a glass bowl. I worry about heating anything in plastic at the high temperatures an air fryer achieves. I notice that Boswell has this item on an even deeper sale for Black Friday. If I were you and were looking for a great air fryer at an incredible price–either for yourself or a gift for someone else–I'd snap up this fryer. Easy to use–easy to clean–you can't get better. Just read the short instructions carefully.

Really nice looking air fryer, much more esthetically pleasing than some of the plastic ones put there. The glass container is premium and heavy but heats up really quick make sure to use the silicone pad on the counter when setting down the glass.

Comes with simple preset cooking options or tou can create a custom setting up to 400 degrees. It heats up really quickly and since its glass its very easy to clean afterwards. I got the green version and find it very unique and looks nice on the countertop as well. Definitely recommend.

Love the glass basket but the non-sealed edge between glass & top leaks too much heat

Reviewed in Canada on October 1, 2025

Color: GreenAmazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

Gotta say this is one of the better looking airfryers out there compared to all the black-pastic clad devices that dominate the market. I love being able to glance through the glass basket, because I'm one of those who doesn't carefully set the right time and temperature when cooking with an airfyer, and instead just go with what the food looks like to determine its doneness. This makes it super convenient. The large glass surface also means it doesn't easily get obscured with grease and splashing during cooking.

The performance though, fell a bit short. While it's still able to crisp up the chicken skins and brown the meats fairly well and uniform, but it takes longer to achieve vs. my previous black-plastic-clad airfryer. I don't think it's underpowered, as the power rating is similar. Instead, I think it's because there's a fairly wide gap between the top of the glass basket and the top casing, and I can feel the fan circulation pushing out hot air – while my older airfryer almost has a complete seal to better keep the hot air contained.

The touch buttons on top initially worked well, very responsive. After a couple of months, I noticed needing to prepeat pressing the buttons to actuate and they are definitely not as touch-sensitive as the beging. I'm wondering if the repeated exposure to the heat is gradually degrading these buttons or the entire top panel.

Very nice air fryer that works and looks great.

Reviewed in Canada on August 26, 2025

Color: GreenAmazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

Really nice looking air fryer. I have had a few different brands, mostly the big-name brands, and this performs as well as any of them. It might cook a tad slower (like 10% slower) because all the heat comes from the elements on the top. Others I've used have heating elements from top and bottom. That being said, it cooks evenly and you don't have to flip items (use the metal rack provided). The digital controls on top look good, are slick and work easily. Very intuitive design.

The appearance beats any air fryer I have seen to date. Nice pastel colour and good aesthetics. Most air fryers have a commercial or institutional look.
I also like the footprint. This air fryer uses less counter space. It's compact but you can still cool a lot in it. It doesn't weigh much, so if you want to move it to a better spot (like under the hood fan) for cooking, then it's not cumbersome.

One thing that has always driven my wife nuts is how hard it is to clean an air fryer. The interiors are not smooth surfaces and are hard to clean. The wire racks catch grease that gets baked on like a rock and there's no way to keep them looking like new. That also poses a problem. As stuff builds up inside, they can be smoky the next time you use them at high heat settings. Not an issue with this air fryer. Very easy to clean after use. The glass cooking container really is (I dislike this overused phrase) a game-changer.

Well-designed and made unit. A very good value at the current price ($159)

beautiful but not efficient cooking for 2

Reviewed in Canada on August 29, 2025

Color: GreenAmazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )

This is my first air fryer, and I was really excited to try out this beautiful looking glass air fryer. This kit comes complete with not only the air fryer, but also a pair of tongs, an oven mitt and a silicone heat pad.

The glass bowl has good heft to it. On its own (empty) it weighs almost 4 lbs (actual 3 lb 15 oz). So once you fill it with food, you may need 2 hands to comfortably handle the cooking bowl.

I already have a really good set of over mitts, but I tried this one anyway just so I could let you know how it worked. I was able to use it to support the bottom of the hot bowl from one side to the other side of my sink, carried it 5’. I could feel the heat by the time I put it down, but it was still very bearable. So

A couple of things to clarify: The instruction booklet says the temperature adjustment will go up/down in 5 degree increments. It reality, goes up/down in 10 degree increments. Also, it says that the time adjustment will go up/down in 10 second increments, it goes up/down in 1 minute increments. I think these are small issues in the grand scheme. I think I can work with the 1 minute increments, and since I can see into the bowl while it’s cooking, I’m not very worried about that.

On first impression, I really liked this air fryer. The aesthetics are beautiful and the unit is compact. The control panel is very straightforward and easy to use.

However, I felt differently after having used it to make a meal of chicken wings and fries, for 2 people.

I made the french fries first. I’d like to point out that I can cook french fries in 29 minutes using my Actifry. I cut up 2 large potatoes, tossed them in a tsp of oil just like I would have for my Actifry, and put them onto the provided tray in the air fryer bowl. As per their recommendation, I turned it on for 20 minutes at 360F. I tossed the fries at 10 minutes. And still some of the fries were under-cooked. I tossed them again and put them back in for another 10 minutes. While they were cooking, I did a bit of research, and discovered that single layer cooking is required for optimum cooking in an air fryer.

Now the compact unit with just a 7 1/4” x 7 1/4” cooking area seems less attractive to me.

For two of us, we needed 16 chicken wings (10 for him, 6 for me). I was able to fit 11 wings, somewhat tightly on the tray, in a single layer. So I would have to make these in 2 batches. We ate it all in less time than it took to cook the second batch, so again, less than ideal.

Now the larger, and dual basket style air fryers are looking a lot more attractive to me.

Something else to note is that after 50 mins of continuous use, the handle became really hot to the touch. I needed an oven mitt just to lift the bowl out of the unit so I could flip the wings and continue cooking. Also to note, is that the unit has a proximity/pressure switch under the bowl, so when I lifted the bowl out, it paused the cooking. When I placed the bowl back into the unit, it resumed cooking. I liked that.

For clean-up, I give them full credits. I soaked the rack for a few minutes, used a scrubby, and it came clean with minimal elbow grease. The bowl was even easier to clean.

Overall, I think this is a great unit for a single. To cook 2 large potatoes worth of french fries and 16 chicken wings (cooking for 2 people), took me a total cooking time of 58 minutes (plus filling and flipping time). So for me, even though this air fryer is beautiful enough to leave on my counter, my priority is function first, then beauty. And this isn’t it for me. I can be more efficient with my Actifry and toaster oven to make this meal in less time.

I cook some chicken wings in there and they are so crunchy. The skin is amazing. I cooked some shrimp in there as well when I tell you run don’t walk purchase this item. I think it’s on sale right now but if not, it’s reasonably priced. It comes with a heating pad and some tongs beautifully made.

    Overall healthy and good option
Love that this product is non-toxic. Heats food well but I have noticed that the crisp is not quite the same as with the standard Air-fryer. It’s not bad, the texture is just a little different from what I’ve experienced previously. While it’s easy for me to use I am a little cautious in having my children heat food in it. The glass gets really hot and also, it’s glass.Looks-wise, it’s really pretty. I’ve received a lot of compliments on it.Overall, this this definitely a high quality healthier option.

    Great Product
I meant to share this review earlier. If people are considering an air fryer this holiday season, this Boswell has been a dream for me. As a senior citizen, I hate to warm up small portions in a big oven. This Boswell air fryer plus a toaster oven have helped me avoid that problem. I snapped up this fryer at the end of June on sale. I wasn’t sure the fryer would benefit me greatly, but I wanted one with a glass bowl. I worry about heating anything in plastic at the high temperatures an air fryer achieves. I notice that Boswell has this item on an even deeper sale for Black Friday. If I were you and were looking for a great air fryer at an incredible price–either for yourself or a gift for someone else–I’d snap up this fryer. Easy to use–easy to clean–you can’t get better. Just read the short instructions carefully.

Really nice looking air fryer, much more esthetically pleasing than some of the plastic ones put there. The glass container is premium and heavy but heats up really quick make sure to use the silicone pad on the counter when setting down the glass.Comes with simple preset cooking options or tou can create a custom setting up to 400 degrees. It heats up really quickly and since its glass its very easy to clean afterwards. I got the green version and find it very unique and looks nice on the countertop as well. Definitely recommend.

Gotta say this is one of the better looking airfryers out there compared to all the black-pastic clad devices that dominate the market. I love being able to glance through the glass basket, because I’m one of those who doesn’t carefully set the right time and temperature when cooking with an airfyer, and instead just go with what the food looks like to determine its doneness. This makes it super convenient. The large glass surface also means it doesn’t easily get obscured with grease and splashing during cooking. The performance though, fell a bit short. While it’s still able to crisp up the chicken skins and brown the meats fairly well and uniform, but it takes longer to achieve vs. my previous black-plastic-clad airfryer. I don’t think it’s underpowered, as the power rating is similar. Instead, I think it’s because there’s a fairly wide gap between the top of the glass basket and the top casing, and I can feel the fan circulation pushing out hot air – while my older airfryer almost has a complete seal to better keep the hot air contained. The touch buttons on top initially worked well, very responsive. After a couple of months, I noticed needing to prepeat pressing the buttons to actuate and they are definitely not as touch-sensitive as the beging. I’m wondering if the repeated exposure to the heat is gradually degrading these buttons or the entire top panel.

Really nice looking air fryer. I have had a few different brands, mostly the big-name brands, and this performs as well as any of them. It might cook a tad slower (like 10% slower) because all the heat comes from the elements on the top. Others I’ve used have heating elements from top and bottom. That being said, it cooks evenly and you don’t have to flip items (use the metal rack provided). The digital controls on top look good, are slick and work easily. Very intuitive design. The appearance beats any air fryer I have seen to date. Nice pastel colour and good aesthetics. Most air fryers have a commercial or institutional look.I also like the footprint. This air fryer uses less counter space. It’s compact but you can still cool a lot in it. It doesn’t weigh much, so if you want to move it to a better spot (like under the hood fan) for cooking, then it’s not cumbersome. One thing that has always driven my wife nuts is how hard it is to clean an air fryer. The interiors are not smooth surfaces and are hard to clean. The wire racks catch grease that gets baked on like a rock and there’s no way to keep them looking like new. That also poses a problem. As stuff builds up inside, they can be smoky the next time you use them at high heat settings. Not an issue with this air fryer. Very easy to clean after use. The glass cooking container really is (I dislike this overused phrase) a game-changer.Well-designed and made unit. A very good value at the current price ($159)

This is my first air fryer, and I was really excited to try out this beautiful looking glass air fryer. This kit comes complete with not only the air fryer, but also a pair of tongs, an oven mitt and a silicone heat pad.The glass bowl has good heft to it. On its own (empty) it weighs almost 4 lbs (actual 3 lb 15 oz). So once you fill it with food, you may need 2 hands to comfortably handle the cooking bowl.I already have a really good set of over mitts, but I tried this one anyway just so I could let you know how it worked. I was able to use it to support the bottom of the hot bowl from one side to the other side of my sink, carried it 5’. I could feel the heat by the time I put it down, but it was still very bearable. SoA couple of things to clarify: The instruction booklet says the temperature adjustment will go up/down in 5 degree increments. It reality, goes up/down in 10 degree increments. Also, it says that the time adjustment will go up/down in 10 second increments, it goes up/down in 1 minute increments. I think these are small issues in the grand scheme. I think I can work with the 1 minute increments, and since I can see into the bowl while it’s cooking, I’m not very worried about that.On first impression, I really liked this air fryer. The aesthetics are beautiful and the unit is compact. The control panel is very straightforward and easy to use. However, I felt differently after having used it to make a meal of chicken wings and fries, for 2 people.I made the french fries first. Now the compact unit with just a 7 1/4” x 7 1/4” cooking area seems less attractive to me.For two of us, we needed 16 chicken wings (10 for him, 6 for me). I was able to fit 11 wings, somewhat tightly on the tray, in a single layer. So I would have to make these in 2 batches. We ate it all in less time than it took to cook the second batch, so again, less than ideal. Now the larger, and dual basket style air fryers are looking a lot more attractive to me.Something else to note is that after 50 mins of continuous use, the handle became really hot to the touch. The bowl was even easier to clean.Overall, I think this is a great unit for a single.
