Great Scale for Independent Seniors
I recently purchased this scale for my father-in-law who faces challenges due to his belly obscuring his view of his feet, as well as a heightened risk of falls and vision problems caused by cataracts. This innovative scale effectively addresses all of these concerns while also allowing me to track his weight and health data through an incredibly user-friendly app. Its low-profile design features a spacious platform, making it easy for him to see the bright, large numbers displayed clearly. Does everything promised at an incredible price. The white model looks sleek and modern, and does not show fingerprints as does the black. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Appreciate the large display that’s easily readible in most low light, bright light, or no light at all . . . as long as you can find the scale. Scale shows only weight and body fat, other metrics such as hydration, and heart rate, display in the app.Minor detractions: appears you have to open the app on the phone every time for it to synch/ /transmit to the app, (If I’m wrong and / or there’s a setting I’ve missed, please correct me), and I wish the platform was a bit wider. I saw wider format scales were available but at roughly 3x the cost of this one, my knees will just have to knock.

Accurate and reliable
Good for tracking weight, and seems to be accurate when compared to another scale we have. It doesnât lie to you about minor changes in weight like many scales do. Other scales Iâve had remember your last weight and minor differences are ignored.

Good Scale but does not accommodate big feet very well
It is a good scale but did not work to my satisfaction. I recognized that it was good in spite of my ending up returning it. It also received great reviews on consumer reports which I consulted before making a purchase.I found the scale was too small for my big feet. I wish the vendor included dimensions on the item description. Also, the method for doing BMI and body fat are based purely on calculation. I thought that the metal contacts/circles used resistance/impedance with a mild electric current to measure such things.It is a good scale, but it just didn’t work for me. If you have big feet, this may not be the scale for you.

Though I am not completely disappointed in this scale; I can confidently say I wouldn’t recommend it. The app is nice and it offers more data than I really give a care about. It was easy to set up and does what I want. Though I wish there was a way to have it update data without having to open the app and select the scale every day. However that’s just being nit picky. I wish the scale was a tad wider but that is neither here or there either. My big complaint about this scale is it’s lack of consistency. On any given day I can weigh myself ten times and walk away with 5-7 different weight results. I never had more than about a four and half pound swing but it’s still frustrating. When you are trying to map what efforts are most profitable in the weight loss game, these swings can be infuriating. By the way I’m talking about weighing myself once after the other. Not throughout the day. I will literally get on, weigh, hop off. Wait a second, get on, weigh again and get a different reading. I make sure my foot placement is the same, posture the same, not holding on to anything or touching a wall. I tried different amounts of dampness on my feet. No clothes each time. I’ve done everything humanly possible to make sure the variables are as close to the same each time and still swings of pounds each time I weigh. I will continue to use this scale because regardless of the swings It’s nice to track my progress easily through the app and well, it’s here. I own it. What the hell else am I going to do, buy another scale? F that noise. If the swings of the weight were wider I would have made this a one start but as it is, this scale is still usable to me. But I would recommend others to look elsewhere.Edit: The app stopped syncing with the scale completely. I tried resetting the scale, new batteries, checking the firmware, and removing and adding back the app. No phone updates either. Oh well, It was nice while it lasted. But not worth the price now that it’s just an inaccurate digital scale and nothing more.

Been reading the reviews on this scale and it does. It disappoint. The scale seems to be accurate and quick with the rest. It syncs with the phone quickly and in real time which is really neat.

Worked from the jump–not the last one I bought (i won’t even note the name)–this one connected immediately with app. Have been using it for a few weeks now. I compared it to the more advanced scale thing at my gym–same numbers. Very good bang for the buck. Just connect to the app which also has the space to run other smart WYZE products (I haven’t looked into that yet).

This is a great scale for someone who wants one that does a little more than just weigh you. Sleep look as well. Connects to the wyze app and allows you to track stats. Easy to use and bonus it takes normal batteries and not those small cell ones that no one ever has laying around. Overall really great!

I got this scale after reading that Wyze has the most accurate and affordable scales on the market. The articles I read mainly tested the X scale model, but it was sold out online, and from Amazon, it was going to be shipped from the US imposing import fees and what not. Decided to check out this model insteadâand came to the conclusion that my current smart scale is fine for what it is.This scale provides all basic functions that any other smart scale brands offer. I placed a weighted dumbbell on both scales, and the difference at times, and at most, were about 0.2lbs off from the actual dumbwell. This occurred on both scales, but I would say the Wyze scale eventually consistently provided the correct weight. Being only 0.2lbs off from the other scale, however, doesnât change much to me.If you already have a smart scale, then this may be a redundant product. That said, I would still consider upgrading to the X model one day as it has other modes like luggage or pet mode that you can switch into.
