I was never a scale user before. I had another brand that you had to tap with your foot in order to turn it on. Sometimes it came on and some other times it would just "bootloop." Anyway, reading about this scale seemed to check all the boxes: good looking and just works. Its as easy as stepping on it and within a few seconds, your weight is there. Very fast results and very easy to read display. It is also very accurate. Numbers are right on with what the doctors office reports. GREAT item!

The AccuCheck bathroom scale arrived quickly. It’s packed efficiently for safe shipping. Very easy to use right out of the box. There’s a quick start card reminding you to remove the plastic strip from the batteries.
I really like the slim minimalist design. Just step on the scale to activate. It double checks auto calibration when you step off. There’s time to read the result and it powers down. Very nice. First test looks good and consistent.
You don’t need more than this simple bathroom scale!

Electronic body weight scales, in general, are a major improvement over the old-fashioned, spring controlled scales used since the previous century. Some have other features, e.g. estimate BMI, but this one estimates only body weight.
I chose the black model because of its modern appearance.
The scale is shipped in a cardboard box, and after opening, the box can be used to store the scale when not in use. If you need to use this scale everyday, then covering it will mitigate the accumulation of dust on its surface.
This scale has a bright and easy to read display even when your morning vision is not the sharpest.
The supplied batteries did not last long and needed to be replaced after about two months. Replacement is easy. The four AAA batteries are held in a compartment that is accessed underneath the scale.
This scale estimates your body weight. These readings are not stored, nor is there a Bluetooth interface to transmit each reading to a smartphone app. These latter features will not be missed by most of us. In fact, I record these readings on a spreadsheet and use it to monitor and evaluate variations in diet, exercise activity, and lifestyle. These records have been useful to me over many years.
The scale material is relatively durable, but I would recommend a gentle handling of it to preserve the integrity of the internal electronics, and store it in an area where it is not accidentally “knocked around” or scratched.
The surface is easy to clean by gently wiping the surface with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth and a non-ammonia glass cleaner.
Accuracy is claimed by the manufacturer to hover within 0.1 pounds. This statement can’t be verified without an independent comparison. Yet, if you have an older scale, then establish your own calibration and baseline values across the scales to maintain a continuous weight-monitoring record. Continuity of weight measurement is important and it can be made simply by comparing the readings of your old and new scales. For example, measure your weight using your old scale, then weigh yourself again using this new unit and keep a record of the difference in readings across several days. When you are confident that a reliable baseline difference has been reached, then donate the old scale and enjoy the new one.

I bought this scale 4 years ago and it is still going strong. I haven't even had to replace the batteries yet. The design is sleek, the display easy to read, and the glass face is easy to clean. I especially appreciate the rounded corners on the glass as I've stubbed my toe on the scale more than once. It appears accurate – I've compared my weight from the doctor's office to this scale at home and it matches each time. I liked it so much I bought a second scale for the guest bathroom.

I've been trying to keep an eye on my weight, so I decided to buy a scale. This works quickly and well, with accurate results. The only thing that makes me scratch my head is the "estimated weight function." You get on the scale, and it gives you a weight, which is supposedly an estimate, you step off, and then it verifies(?) the estimate. I don't know if this is a gimmick, but you would think that a digital scale wouldn't need to estimate before it gives an accurate response. Anyway, other than that, I really do like it (when my weight is down). 🙂

The scale has a glass platform for standing on to weigh oneself. The packaging was sufficient to protect it – it arrived in excellent shape, and worked/weighed immediately (AAA batteries included). A great basic, non-technical scale- easy to use, to clean.

Value for money wise I would say these are the best. I was using what I would call a normal set of scales probably cost £20 and I was getting inconsistent results, I could re weigh immediately and get a different result. Decided to do my research and various places seem to rate these highly. Took a week or 2 to turn up but they ship from America. The scales are much better than any I’ve ever used, you can re weigh immediately and constantly get the same results, I’ve moved the around the house and the result stays exactly the same. Very easy to use and a Nice bright display, speedy in displaying the verified weight. Only gripe I have is the scales weigh in either kg or pounds and I like my weight in stone but other than that great set of scales.
