Alright, folks, let me tell you about the latest addition to my home gym/torture chamber: the GIBBON GiBoard Balance Board. I saw it and thought, "Hey, that looks like fun! What I got was a beautiful piece of American maple wood that immediately highlighted just how terrible my balance truly is.

I'm pretty sure my dog thought I was having some kind of seizure. The cats, of course, were utterly indifferent, probably plotting how to trip me for their own amusement.
But here's the magic: it's fun being terrible at it! And the learning curve, while steep initially, is incredibly rewarding. After a few days of looking like a newborn giraffe, I started to get the hang of it. I can now stand on it for almost a whole minute without grabbing onto the nearest piece of furniture for dear life! This is major progress, people.
This board is deceptively simple. No complicated parts, just a beautifully crafted piece of wood with a slackline on top. But it works your core, your legs, your ankles, and your spatial awareness in ways you didn't know were possible. Tons of fun, but challenging!
Kids and adults love it. Challenging, but all want to master it. Even the 4 yr old boy enjoys trying to increase his time staying balanced (only a few seconds so far, but not giving up). Good enjoyment for the whole family to gather around and share their attempts and increasing proficiency. lots of laughs for those watching, too. Well made. Got adult size, but kids are ok with it. Good value for the fun alone! recommend 5 stars.

Bought this because I was bored, and I’d been seeing a lot of short videos about it.I’m in my 50’s, definitely don’t have the balance I had as a teen, but this is a fun way to try a slack line, and get some core engagement.My wife and kids like it too, no one walks by it without getting on it once or twice if it’s out.I’m 6’1″ and 195 lbs, and it handles my weight easily.Good stuff.

We received our board the next day and it was an immediate hit with 4 generations grand kids, kid, mom and grand ma. Perfect tool to get ready for the snowboarding and ski season. Helps to build balance and ankle strenght. We started doing family contests of number of rebounds in a row.
