    Still very happy with this rack. I measured it out of curiosity and the uprights are 2mm steel. I really like the rubber lined hooks. They're quiet, and grippy enough for quick band work without having to wrap the band all the way around the rack. They make decent handles too. They're kind of in the way when it comes to reracking (stick out kinda far but not far enough to be spotters) but I still like them. Very happy with this purchase 🖤.

    This is much sturdier than I expected and great for my bedroom gym lol. I don't have a garage, spare room etc etc. I needed something stable, with plate storage.

    I wish there were spotter arm upgrades available.

    This squat rack is great for its price point, but has some issues to keep in mind.

    The two barbell rests for the bench press aren't adjustable, they must be installed in one spot, about halfway up the rack, and a bit lower than I'd like.

    The rack is also more narrow than I'd prefer, it means adjusting your hand position after unracking the weight for most pressing exercises, and I'm not a tall person.

    I have it placed up against a wall, but even then, there is no obvious way to secure it to the ground, so when you re-rack the weights you have to be careful to put them back using a controlled up and down motion, racking them with any lateral movement causes the whole rack to wobble.

    That said, it is a good piece of equipment for a budget-conscious home gym, and I'd recommend it for that purpose.
