Wow, works great, lasts long.
Very reflective and easy to see in the sun. Light and not bulky. Takes 1 to 2 minutes to get go’s signal 1st time but then it’s very accurate on course and simple to use so it doesn’t distract me during the game. Battery is great, after a 3.5 hr round it still had a 90% charge and bluetooth was on to connect to garmin phone app. Absolutely love it and would buy again.Update: syill working and if just using as eatch with bluetooth and gps off it lasts a long time its been 2 weeks and still shows almost full charge. I giess thats the benefit of a watch that only does 1 thing i.e. golf and not all the smart watch features I donât need, my phone does that stuff.

Great golf watch
I have had the Bushnell and Tec Tec Tec GPS range finder watches and this is by far the best of the lot. The Bushnell is a good watch and accurate, but the battery only stays charged for 1 round and if a golf course has been redone or had modifications, it is very difficult to get the watch updated for the new layout. The Tec Tec Tec watch is accurate, but doesn’t even hold a charge for a complete 18 hoel round. This Garmin watch has a long charge, is accurate, easy to see in mid afternoon and much easier to attach the charging cord than the other 2. I would recommend

I’ve used it twice. The first time I’d give it 3 stars. The second time 5 stars.
I’ve wanted a GPS golf watch for a long time. I settled on this one for three reasons. First, two guys I regularly play with have one and both love theirs. Secondly, my golf game doesnât require a more expensive model that provides an endless list of detailed information. Third, the watch finally came back on sale for $50 off. It seems to periodically. Iâve used it twice. Here’s my reaction so far:Liked:* Rather than hoping that someone in my foursome will have a GPS, now I can just glance down at my wrist. So convenient.* I like the multiple-face display configurations. I have mine set so the numbers showing the distance to the middle of the green are extra large, which makes the number I care about easy to see, even in bright sunlight.* Super comfortable. Normally, I hate wearing watches but this one is ultra-lightweight and didnât bother me a bit.* Iâm no techie but downloading the app and pairing the watch to my I phone 13 was a breeze.* This watch provides far more information than my golf game requires but itâs nice to know itâs there if I start getting better.* No complaints about battery life. I still had plenty of power left after two rounds.Didnât like:* On several holes during my first round, my watch had trouble finding the next hole. Even my cart-mate, who has the same watch, couldn’t figure out why. His watch found every hole without any problem. That was frustrating. But during my second round (at a different course), it performed flawlessly. In fact, during that round, the golf cart had a GPS screen. I compared the distance on my watch with the cart GPS and found they were very close every time.* It took longer than I expected for the watch to locate and load the course, but I donât consider that a major issue.* There is definitely a learning curve. I read the instructions at home but it’s challenging to practice using it unless you’re actually at a course with the course downloaded.

Great Father’s Day gift
My husband has used his for 6 rounds of golf thus far. He’s impressed with the accuracy. He feels that the battery doesn’t last quite as long as he expected it to, but it’s okay. Had to recharge it one time so far. As for being easy to use, he says that it’s not intuitive. You definitely need to ready the instruction book. Not hard, but it could be more intuitive. Compared to a VERY expensive one that his friend has, this one does everything that an accomplished golfer needs and doesn’t need to have frills that don’t necessarily help the game. Can’t believe I didn’t think about this as the perfect gift earlier! Good value.

Golf GPS Watch, no BS.
I’m 67 years old. I want a simple, reliable, accurate, look down and read the yards in big numbers, on a sunny day. I previously owned a S10 which did the same thing but the S12 does a bit more. I can add the CT10 sensors to the S12. I can pair it to my phone to look at stats afterwards. I can look at where the traps and water hazards are by a quick push of a button. It pairs quickly to the outerspace GPS machine floating around the earth. A black and white number screen, not color. I dont need color – I know what color the green is. I also like the price. I tried the S62 and didnt have the patience to remember what buttons to push to see info. All I need to know is how far the hole is and how far a hazard is. The S12 does it.

GARMIN GPS IS EASY TO USE AND VERY DEPENDABLE.
INSTRUCTIONS WERE VERY EASY TO FOLLOW IN THE SETUP PROCESS. I WILL KNOW MORE TOMORROW WHEN I GOLF BUT I AM SURE THE GARMIN WILL PERFORM VERY WELL.

So good, never touch my hand-held laser again!
The instructions are harder to read than using the product. Learn the button patterns in action on the first hole. First use it found my home course (New Mexico) after taking just a bit longer than expected to synch to the satellite. Put me on the correct hole – started on #10 on the back-side. Coolest part (I’ll probably get over it, but) is watching the remaining yardage ‘count down’ as you walk to your next shot. Love that. Accuracy seems right on compared to on-course yardage markers (which my home course as precision few of). Yes, it is an entry-level yardage watch. For my talent level (9 hndp) it is perfect to inform my club selection. I would like the watch to be back-lit for around the clock wear. But, I quibble.

A good value purchase. Does everything you need and to know on the course. Menu is easy to navigate. Comfortable wear. Battery life is very good as advertised. As many as 4 to 5 rounds between charging. Nice everyday wrist watch. I wore it on a cruise. I wanted a nice black watch. Promotes that it will last months between charging as a watch. Haven’t reached that point but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Husband loved this. It was so easy to use. Strap fitted ok. (He has large wrist). Screen easy to read. Charges quickly too.
