So far so good. Easy to assemble except clearer picture needed on how to get to the battery compartment. A Youtube video showed it well but not the written setup guide.

Nice for the price.
I purchased this rower after looking a various models because it seemed like a good tower for the price. I also have a stationary bike that I wanted to pair it with to add variety to my winter workout routine.The rower is very easy to put together. I found the instructions very easy to follow. I put it together by myself and didnât in less than 45 minutes. Also, there are easy to follow instructions on you-tube. Rower is easy to use. The tension appears to be pretty good as I am a beginner. I bike most of the year so I needed something to use other muscle groups and this was just ideal.Not many bells and whistles on this machine but what is needed to follow training workouts on you-tube. You can spend more money to get more interactive training sessions but for a good 30-40 minute workout this is ideal.I feel this was a good investment and look forward to a good winter workout routine. Great rower for the money. Finally, customer support was fantastic when I had a few questions regarding my warranty and questions about the display.

Fantastic Workout and Customer Support
My husband lost 45 pounds and mentioned to his doctor that he had loss muscle mass. He is an avid golfer and could tell from his game he had loss strength. His doctor told him a rowing machine would be great to build muscles throughout his body. We went to a store and looked at a variety of rowing machines ranging from $500 to $5,000. I convinced him to buy this cheaper magnetic rowing machine with great reviews to make sure he would actually use one before investing a lot of money in one. We bought this rowing machine and couldnât be happier with it. I put it together by myself with the easy to follow directions. All the screws, nuts, etc. were labeled exactly to follow the directions. I have ended up using it more than my husband. I have a small gym set up in his man cave that I work out at least five days per week. It is the one piece of exercise equipment that I use and feel like I have had a full body workout.There was one loose screw found in the box that had fallen out of machine. I emailed customer support with issue and received immediate feedback from Karen. She has been absolutely amazing emailing me to check to make sure everything was fixed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this rowing machine. We are so glad his doctor recommended this exercise equipment. We are both building muscle with this resistance training.

Quality seems very good for the money
I have only had this machine for a week which is the reason for only four stars. I want to see how well it holds up over time. I am extremely happy with it so far. The machine is comfortable to use and rows smoothly . I think it would be hard to find a better machine for the price.

Great Workout Rower – and even Better Customer Service
I’ve had the PooBoo rower for 18 months now. The workout I get on the rower is really good – but I personally would like the resistance setting to be about 25% greater than the max currently allowed. [But for most people, I think the max setting would be enough as it is for my wife] To compensate for the lower resistance – I can easily just pull harder or increase my cadence to get a more rigorous workout when I want/need one. The motion is absolutely very smooth and fairly quiet. The only real noise comes from the seat moving back and forth – but it is not too noisy. I do prefer a slightly wider grip when rowing than the handle allows – so I simply cut 1-1/2″ ABS pipe – 12″ long and slipped over the original handles. I wrapped velcro strapping at 3 locations on the handles to act as shims for the 1-1/2″ pipe. [see pictures]The assembly was amazingly VERY SIMPLE. It was well documented, the tools/nuts/bolts were all vacuum sealed on a piece of cardboard and assorted / labeled by steps. The tools are adequate for assembly but using a ratchet/socket tool makes the assembly go faster.I recently noticed a small amount of an oily substance directly below the enclosed flywheel mechanism. I wrote to the service email located on the back of the monitor control panel and within a day – customer service reached out to me. They [Koala], explained that my rower was out of the 1-year warranty – but NO PROBLEM – they were going to send out a new “ribbon flywheel”. But before doing so, they sent me a YouTube video describing how to change out the “ribbon flywheel” and asked if was able to do the the replacement myself. The replacement appears VERY straightforward. The replacement part is now in the process of being sent.The rower was used for about 80-100 hours during the 18 months before I noticed the small oil patch.I have used the rower for about 10 hours following the discovery of the oily substance – and there doesn’t seem to be any difference in the resistance or smooth rowing motion.The PooBoo rower provides a great workout, at a really reasonable price [$275 when I bought it] and with great customer service. PooBoo definitely provides a winning product through and through. I recommend it highly.
