Single greatest purchase
I was randomly reminded about weighted blankets on an Instagram post about getting older and all the amenities needed to fall asleep. I had never been interested but I just moved and thought: I’m the age of this person, I need a blanket, and it’s been getting chilly at my new place, so I went for it.This blanket arrived and it was HEAVY. I didn’t realize it was 15 lbs. I washed it, I dried it, I lugged it to my bed and thought: how will I move?? Friends: who needs to move? Who WANTS to move when you have this blanket?This is warm, soft, and weighted — I didn’t know that this combination would lead to some of the best sleep of my life, or certainly the most consistently best sleep of my life.I was a morning person, now I hate the idea of leaving my bed more than ever before — why leave when I have this blanket on top of me keeping me warm, still, protected. It is beyond words glorious.It is better than Benadryl, Melatonin, NyQuil, Zzyquil, even my white noise machine! I washed and dried this blanket in a mesh laundry bag to prevent any messes just in case the beads decided to vacate their spaces. Thankfully, there was no mess after wash or dry and after several days of use, there is still no bead mess. Maybe previous reviews had faulty products ?Regardless.This has been the best purchase I have made, so far, in my entire 38+ years of life. It’s warm, heavy and soft.Because of the weight, I recommend going to a laundromat — use their commercial washers and dryers so you don’t break your domestic ones at home. I almost broke my dryer at home (it’s used and old, but still, better safe than sorry). Also, use a mesh laundry bag because of the beads just in case. Lastly, sherpa is very heat sensitive so I recommend drying on low or no heat otherwise the fibers melt together and there’s no fixing that.

Soft and Comforting
This blanket is just the right size and weight for me to help me relax in the evenings in the recliner after work. The color and softness are beautiful and the stitching to keep the beads separated is very important. The quality is top notch and I have found that the weight is the perfect amount for me as I’m a smaller woman (5 feet tall) The weight is perfect for helping with anxiety.

Really nice, but one minor issue (bird owner so bigger for me)
I use this nightly with my regular blanket, and it is great! For the average user, it is soft, a decent size, and has a good weight to it! I do wish it was thicker, but it works for what I need it to, and I can continue to use it across all seasons.My only complaint is minor but important for me: the beads are generally secured fine, but I have had some escapees. This is fine for most people, but I own two small birds, so I have to constantly vacuum after use to make sure none of the small beads that give it its weight are left behind for when they get free play. They are easy to miss/ignore as a regular user, but if you own small pets (birds, hamsters, mice, etc), Iâd buy with caution as you may need to clean up the area you use the blanket in more or (if tired of cleaning) sew a âbarrierâ blanket around it in hopes of catching as many strays as possible. I canât tell where the leakage is after examining and using the blanket nightly, so I think it is just something with the seams you wouldnât notice without pulling or the fabric (as the blanket is delicate).Besides this minor issue, it is pretty nice! Definitely gives the expected weight dispersion I was wanting! It has helped me sleep so much better.

I recently became a fan of weighted blankets and have seen how they affected my sleep. So, I got this Cymula weighted blanket for my teen, who has trouble sleeping, and itâs been a hit so far. Best weighted blanket on the market
Extremely heavy weighted blanket we love this blanket easy to wash keeps you so warm during the winter. Amazing quality I love weighted blankets that heavier the better than this one is extremely heavy, which is amazing. I bought one for myself and bought one for my daughter. You will not be disappointed the quality is fantastic and itâs just the best to snuggle with.

I haven’t slept this good in a LONG time!
The first night sleeping under this blanket, it took my brain a little getting used to. Prior to purchasing this, I was only getting 3 hours of sleep. My brain won’t shut off due to ADHD. The second night and every night after, I’m out within 10 minutes and sleep soundly for at least 6-8 hours straight. I don’t wake up tired and drained. Like others have stated, it feels like a gentle hug. The 15 lb queen blanket is just the right weight to instantly relax me and the soft luscious materials are so soothing on the skin. It keeps me warm but never overheated… so far. It is colder out, so I may have to update my review once summer comes back around.My only complaint is that it’s not long enough to tuck under my feet AND drape it over my shoulders. At 5’7″ 138 lbs, I assumed I could get fully snuggled in. As for the width, it doesn’t hang over the edges. So, it falls short on that as well. Especially if there is going to be more than 1 person under it. I suggest ordering a King size if you have a queen bed, are taller than me, and aren’t sleeping alone.Overall, I’m extremely happy! My only want for this purchase was to start getting some great sleep again, and that’s exactly what’s happening.
