Robust containers
We bought a bunch of these a while ago because my wife cooks too much. True story! We need containers so her delicious meals won’t go bad. These are perfect for storing food in the freezer because they stack so easily. I have one gripe and that’s why I removed a star. Sometimes, it is nearly impossible to get the lids off without shredding your hands on the sharp edges. Why they made that so difficult is beyond me. They do loosen up a tiny bit after several uses but even the oldest, most used ones never fail to make me curse like the devil himself. There is a better than average chance there is a secret technique for removing the lids effortlessly but I have yet to learn it. Meanwhile, swearing the most vile curse words is helpful. Maybe that’s the secret technique.

They are plastic. Of course they aren’t invincible to damage. But, I’ve purchased a lot of portion containers over the years and these are my favourite. They are thicker and more durable than any other containers I’ve purchased. I would absolutely recommend these.

The seal is alright, but every single container that I’ve used, and had to take the lid off, the edge of the lid would break. Very disappointing. I had to throw away some lids as the broken plastic edge is sharp and presents a hazard. Will not buy again.
