    Cute Step Counters
I bot one for everybody in the family for Christmas. 🎅 No complaints. Encourage the 10,000 every day! Affordable, health oriented, accurate, easy to use, easy to read, and can be worn in a variety of ways. Really nice to have a different color for each person too! BUT: Not water proof and they will die in the washing machine, so watch out! Check those pockets!

    Simple to use!
Just what I was looking for. A simple pedometer I don’t have to remember to charge and for which I don’t need an app. Clips on my belt, fits in my pocket, or I could use the lanyard around my neck. Easy peasy!

No, Version 2 does NOT reset at midnight (plus my review)
UPDATE: The company confirmed the new version does not reset automatically. They told me that VERSION 1 WOULD RESET AT MIDNIGHT BUT THE NEW VERSION DOESN’T (due to people complaining about that feature). BUT THEY THEN SENT ME A VERSION 1 model. Thanks! Perhaps they should offer both models (or have a setting for the owner to decide).Earlier review:I got this recently believing the 6 “Verified Purchase” reviewers that said this tracker resets at midnight. Some hated an auto-reset feature and others like it (I want it). But the directions I got that came with the package specifically state “The pedometer does not reset automatically”. There is no auto-reset listed in the description for the product; it’s only the Verified Purchasers who are claiming that. Maybe it was available for a prior version???Otherwise:+ The display is easy to read. Push the button to see the easy-to-read time (I hate wearing a watch or carrying a phone.)- The clip is a bit bulky. I’d been a Fitbit One user (their old old slim clip-on) and miss that nice narrow clip so maybe it’s an unfair comparison. All the other company’s model likewise had people complaining about their clips too.- This pedometer only seems to count “real goin’-on-a-walk” steps. So wearing my One and this AVTREK on the same pocket, I’ll get about 80% of the Fitbit steps counted. The numbers are closer when I’m going on a walk but the ’round-the-house steps it ignores. So my 10,000 goal now requires about 12,000 steps.+ It has a battery to be replaced occasionally. My Fitbit One was needing to be charged every 4 days. I like not worrying about that.+ Since I really only want to count steps, I don’t need Fitbit’s “radioing back to HQ” with my stats. I don’t miss that.

    Great device
It is the most accurate pedometer I have owned

    Not accurate!
I walked around all day and the counter is only saying 4,000 steps. There’s no way! Also, I’ve been counting my steps then checking the counter and it’s barely registering steps. I also have shaken the item to see if extra steps will be added and they are not.I do not recommend this product to anyone.

    Good enough but not ideal
Pros:Great size and colorBig displayEasy to set up and use, can add in your step pitch (cm or in)Shows time, steps, distance (km or mile)Light on display for evening/nightCons:The time is always first on the screen, you must press the top button once to check steps (or twice when the light is on) UPDATE: It seems if you long press the top button you can pick which screen to keep firstTime is only 24 hour, not 12 hourCan sometimes slip out of hands easily without the clip case on itIt doesn’t save and it automatically resetsNot really good to record daily steps, unless you look at it right before midnight and make a note somewhere*****At first setting it up and just sitting, it said 60 steps. I thought it might overcount. Then it seemed while I was using it for normal daily walking around, it might be undercounting. It records only after 10 steps (which is good, but bad for normal walking around home)During a timed amount of walking for exercise it seems okay. You can look at your step count before you start and subtract it from the total when you’re finished for an idea of your steps and distance for that time. Despite its flaws, it’s a good enough alternative to a cheap fitness watch or phone.

    Revision to original review:
Revision To first review: Since the following, the company not only refunded me the original purchase but sent me replacements (more than my original order!) so I have to update because they went above and beyond. These seem to work though I still do not see how to change the clock but have resigned its use to count steps only. Here is my original review:I reached out to the company and, while I heard back at first, nothing was resolved. The clock feature never worked. Even had my teen and young adult children look at it and if they say it doesn’t work, well then, it’s definitely an issue. Also, this is made for active people and the unit kept flying off the clip so….wait for it….it ended up in the toilet at the gym. Maybe this is where it is best utilized.I’m disappointed as I was enjoying the two days of tracking (w/o a clock but was going to overlook that) but had to abandon the idea of a cheap clip-on tracker. On a positive note, the rep was very nice when she answered but again, no resolution. Also, the light worked and the tracker was fun. While it lasted.

    Accuracy
I love this gadget. Once I realized I only used my smart watch for tracking’s steps I invested in this pedometer and exceeded my expectations. It’s accurate easy to read and operate. Recommend this item highly.
