This has been amazing for my chronic pain issues
I have chronic pain in my leg from a hip injury.I have tried everything to help ease the pain and to just be comfortable everyday. I read many positive things about acupressure mats so I started my research and found my way to Ajna. I loved that this mat is made from eco friendly better for you materials, loved that I can take the cover off to wash and it looked very sturdy and well made!I purchased the mat and pillow set in natural and it is so beautiful. I used it immediately and sat with the mat under my leg for about 30 minutes. My pain was gone and stayed gone for many many hours. It was unreal. Wish I had found this beautiful product years ago! I have also been using the pillow, with a muslin swaddle blanket over it, durning my toddler sons tele-therapy and homeschooling to see if it would help with his sensory needs, which I think it definitely has. Another amazing use for this set. My husband also started using it and now wants his own set! I am sitting with the pillow under the small of my back as I write this review. Not only does it feel amazing, the pillow has a calming and not overpowering scent of lavender which I love. I raved to my sister all about this gem and she immediately ordered one for herself. I was a little skeptical before I ordered but this has changed my life.

I love Ajna Wellbeing – a brand that is eco-friendly, ethical, sustainable and women-owned!!! The first time I have ever tried acupressure rather than acupuncture is by using this mat. I tried the original product design as well – this new design is so much better, seriously!!! The previous mat was also great, but it was more stiff than this one. The new “filling” for this mat is much lighter, softer and more flexible which makes the mat much more comfortable to use (yes, those spikes can actually be comfortable)! I often use the acupressure set before sleep, on the bed. It helps me release all of my stress from the day. I lent my mat to my mom as well, and she says it works wonders for her. She is using it to help relieve her symptoms of insomnia. On top of that, the colour is so pretty and the fabric itself is so soft. Ajna Wellbeing also always sends information booklets, inspirational messages, and examples of how to use the product in every order. All their products also come in a cute bag – yay for extra things and re-usable bags. Invest in Ajna and invest in our planet. 🙂

I already own the Ajna Deluxe Mat and Pillow, which are sold separately, and use them daily. I am so glad that they have now released a lighter version of the Mat and Pillow, which are sold as a set, providing me with a travel version of the mat and pillow I already love.I am 62, have sciatica, spinal arthritis and nerve damage in my lower spine. I use the mat and pillow to aid with pain relief and increase in circulation. I use the travel Acupressure Mat in my car, and also on my chair at the kitchen table during meals. I am a knitter and needle pointer and use the mat behind my back on the couch while working. I use the pillow on the floor, to help with the circulation in my feet. I also use the pillow behind my neck to ease tension in my neck muscles.I practice yoga on a daily basis and use the mat and pillow for savasana and also during meditation. I find them both very effective on focusing my attention to the moment and not letting my mind wander so much.I receive a twice monthly massage and recently my masseuse commented on how relaxed my back muscles were becoming and keep on doing what I was doing. I told her about the Ajna mat and pillow and how I have been using them daily.I recently experienced an out of county bereavement and did travel with my original mat and pillow, I used it at the end of very intense days to relieve the tension and stress in my back and neck. How much more convenient it would have been to have had a lighter mat and pillow to travel with. I can see using the lighter version of the mat in a variety of locations that I would not use the original heavier mat.The only difference I can see between the original and the new travel version is the internal structure. The new travel version is a pillow form interior which the original is buckwheat and lavender in the pillow, and coconut husk in the mat. The same quality in the external cover and the lotus spikes is identical. The lighter version of the mat and pillow also weigh less than the original making it easier to transport in a suitcase or overhead luggage.I highly recommend this product, the price point is amazing for the quality of product that is produced. I am also impressed by the company policy of their ethically sourced materials their commitment to planting a tree for every product sold.

Loving this mat!!
As others have mentioned, the flowers were not as pictured. I reached out to the company to be sure I hadnât received a fake and they explained that flowers like the ones on the mat I received (see attached picture) are their new design. They also mentioned that the Sage colored mat included in this listing has the original design and provided a link for the related pillow which is sold separately. So if you are wanting to original design of the flowers that is how you would go about getting it.The quality is impeccable. The materials used are as described with the coconut fiber inside the mat itself and buckwheat with lavender in the pillow. I love how amazing the pillow smells and the mat does what I was hoping it would. I even fell asleep on it it for a little bit because was so relaxed.

THIS THING HURTS….SO GOOD
whew, it looks like it looks and feel how it looks. yes, it hurts that first few times you try it but once you settle in, wow, it’s amazing. it feels like acupuncture. I feel so relaxed once I’m done with it. Standing on is going to take me some more time to deal with cause that hurts like hedoublehockeysticks but the few minutes I’ve stood on it, it’s been a great feelin when I hop off. definitely give this a try. I have fibromyalgia so this is great for me and those painful trigger points.

Highly recommend. This mat was a Godsend for me. Traveled via truck & trailer across Canada and back this fall. Leaned against, sat on, slept on this mat all the way there and back.
