I just bought 2 more of these! Great weight distribution, super comfortble, attractive colors, and washes well. I wash everything before I use it, so in it went, cold gentle cycle with detergent and a dash of vinegar to set the color so it never runs or fades (important). It would take forever to hang dry and is too heavy to hang anyway so I popped it into the dryer with 2 dry bath towels. The blanket was perfectly dry in half an hour and my kid sleeping under it just 2 hours later. It was like magic watching this weighted blanket so gently confine, and then settle my wiggly ADHD child with restless legs. That's the 10lb 40×60 green blanket. I love it, so the next day I got the velvety soft blue for my other kid (it's gorgeous but might be too warm for some people, I suspect), and a 12lb 48×72 for myself. I chose not to get a queen because it is heavy, and I think a larger one would be awkward and cumbersome to position or adjust at night. Besides, I'm single. If I weren't, I'd still consider 2 twins instead of a queen, personally. None of my family have been sleeping well lately but I look forward to some good rest tonight! As for choosing weight, I'd have definitely gone heavier years ago when my anxiety was super intense. For me now, the 12 lb twin blanket feels like I'm free to move but with resistance and it feels right. I'm a somewhat petite female. I had a great snuggle under it to try it out, and now it's happily whirring in the washer.

My 2nd one of these: a comfort MUST-HAVE
I love, love, love these fleece weighted blankets from Bare Home. Iâve never had a weighted blanket feel as soft, luxurious, and substantial as this one. This is my second one (first was a gift). They are truly heavy, in a good way – in a soothing, warm hug type of way. Iâm someone who struggles with anxiety (especially at nighttime) and I havenât always loved going to bed, but I actually look forward to it now because my bed is so cozy with this amazing weighted blanket. The only thing to look out for is if you have a small dog that sleeps in the bed with you, it can be hard for them to maneuver underneath it so I always keep it askew to one side of the bed and roll up the other side so my dog can get in and out of the blankets as she needs to without struggle. Iâve tried other brands of weighted blankets, and they just didnât compare to this one. Nowhere near as soft and comforting as this one. 10/10 highly recommend this blanket to anyone with anxiety or that is just looking to get a great nightâs sleep.

I bought this because it was the heaviest and most affordable option I could find, while also maintaining strong quality. I put the weighted blanket into a duvet cover so I would be able to wash it a little less.The quality is great! It doesnât make too much noise, itâs soft, and the right amount of heavy when itâs laying on me. It is quite heavy to carry when folded which isnât a problem for me but may be for some others. My duvet cover on it plays a role in this, but I also like that the weighted blanket doesnât heat me up too much like other heavier blankets would. Overall, Iâd definitely recommend.

Amazing blanket, Iâm 170lbs and got the 17lbs, works perfect if a tad heavy but I like it heavy. Love the velvet texture. Amazing for hard nights, emotionally but also physically like when ill.Recently my sister used my bed for a sleepover and the other girl loved my weight blanket so much I purchased her own for her birthday. Sheâs smaller than me by a lot but still loved the 17lbs, wasnât too heavy.

Nice and heavy, and for a good price. Keep it centered on your bed, because it could slide off, taking the rest of your bed covers with it. Still glad I bought it — has improved my sleep quality considerably.

Fantastic Weighted Blanket
I bought this weighted blanket for my boyfriend who enjoys weight on top of him. Even as a little kid he liked being tucked in tightly, it made him feel safe and secure. He uses it every night. He’s about 200 lbs so I bought the 25lbs. one. Weighted blankets can help soothe feelings of anxiety. I’ve slept underneath of it with him, and while I dislike the weight on my chest, I do really like it on my legs because I have either restless leg syndrome or something similar. My legs sometimes hurt all over and prevent me from sleeping. I’m planning on buying a throw size one for myself to see if it helps consistently when I have leg pain. It also doesn’t make you overheat in case you’re worried about using it in the summer. The cotton ones do attract dog hair and lint, so keep that in mind if that drives you crazy.

Hi there! Iâm a 5â1 158IBS and I bought the 48X72 15 IBS weighted blanket and ordered a separate cover for it. I was picky about getting the right one- Glass Beads, 4 or 3 inch square pockets, good quality, and at least 8 reinforced loops.This is Day 3 or 4 with the blanket sleeping and I think laying on my back with the weight is keeping my spine, neck, elbows, and knees where it should be… this is making me wake up sore and kinda in pain, but I think this good so Iâm not stopping the blanket. I donât blame the blanket I blame the years sleeping in bad posture.And itâs heavy so at night it can be hard to pick up and move. If this is for someone who is sick or frail, definitely go lighter or else it will be hard to get off to breathe too. (As an asthmatic I have had to take it off my chest but kept it tummy and down. I love how it is sewn into squares to help distribute the glass beads throughout the blanket, BUT my son will say that it feels heavier down by his feet verses up on his chest area.Instantly made me feel relaxed when I tried it. Like melting into the mattress! Definitely recommend this blanket!
