Thanks again Pattern.The new Blendtec I bough is defective after 66 smoothies/4 months. I will update this after customer service gets back to me about a refund. It stops after mere seconds and says overloaded and smells burnt! It was just a smoothie and definitely not overloaded (liquid) see the video for proof.The older Blendtecs last FOREVER. I still have my 2011 model and itâs up to 2490 smoothies and still kickin! I only upgraded because the new base looks nicer on my counter and I assumed it would also last forever so I could just use my older one in my RV and the new fancy one in my house. Wrong. Iâm asking for a full refund and Iâll use my old Blendtec from now on! I hope itâs a fluke and they all arenât this poorly made! Stay tuned.

Take it from a former manager of Smoothie King – this blender is top tier.
I used to manage a Smoothie King. After that, I worked in another juice bar/smoothie business. Those were high school/college jobs, but I still got a ton of experience with smoothie making and use of top tier, commercial blenders.I though Vitamix was the end all be all of blenders. Screw Ninja with all the blades, a Vitamix can pulverize and powderize anything you throw at it with the two small blades at the bottom.Flash forward to my first apartment after college – I had my eyes on a Vitamix but spending $3-400 just to make smoothies made absolutely zero sense financially. I was complaining about the Vitamix price tag to a friend of mine amidst a night of heavy drinking, and he asked me why I didn’t just get a Ninja. I told him I thought Ninja’s were dumb and gimmicky, and that nothing compares to a Vitamix. He then asked if I’d ever heard of a youtube channel called “Will It Blend?”. I told him I hadn’t, he quickly pulled it up, and after watching this blender turn an iPad into powder, I knew I’d found what I was looking for.Vitamix power at half the price. You cannot go wrong with this thing. It’s absurdly easy to use, absurdly easy to clean, attractive to look at, and seriously just as good as any of the commercial Vitamix’s I used at Smoothie King.Don’t think twice. This is it. Blendtec > Vitamix.

I almost didn’t buy this blender
I was hesitant to buy this blender because of the plastic blender jar. I’ve always has glass in the past. I also had never heard of Blendtec brand. I love this blender because:1. The design of the square blender jar, plus the unique scraper that comes with it, makes it very easy to get everything out of the blender.2. The lid fits firmly in place and prevents leaks3. The base is solid. No jumping around when blender is on high.4. It is super easy to clean with the cleaning program but also easily rinses clean.5. The milkshake program. Love, love, love! I use it for my protein shakes and it’s great.6. The drive and blades are metal. Super easy to seat the blender onto the base.7. Did I mention the milkshake program?

good blender
This blender is definitely much better than the cheap like $30 one I had before. I make a smoothie bowl nearly every money, so it gets a lot of use. It blends fruit, spinach, and ice very well. We’ve even made soups a few time. That being said, it is a little hard to blend for one person. It takes a little finnessing. I’m going to look into getting a personal blending cup attachment for the future.

Last week I bought a Vitamix very expensive blender about twice the price of this Blendtec and boy was I disappointed. I used the Vitamix to make Nice Cream and it smelled like burning rubber and shut off. I even contacted Vitamix and they said they are designed to turn off if they get too hot. Well it was only blending for less than a minute. If it can’t handle that then they shouldn’t even be making blenders. Anyway so the same night I decided to buy this Blendtec. I received it today and did the exact same Nice Cream recipe and it worked perfect. Didn’t smell like it was burning up and didn’t struggle at all. I’m starting to wonder if all these Vitamix videos and reviews are paid for. I highly recommend disregarding all the Vitamix hype and instead purchase a Blendtec model.

An Awesome Killer Blender! Perfect for smoothies!
This machine is an amazing âblenderâ- it makes totally smooth smoothies in one minute and with the correct amount of liquid will blend or cream any other concoction in a matter of minutes. It is loud but thatâs the powerful motor and well designed blades at work. The container and top are very sturdy and well designed and extremely easy to clean. It has a sturdy industrial cord and plug and off switch to preserve the motor. Iâve had it for a couple of months now, use it twice daily with liquids, powders, solids, ice and frozen items and it works like a charm! And itâs a US company and I believe itâs made in country. My old Vitamix pales by comparison Blendtec gets 5 stars from me! ððððð

I really like the physical size of this model, I compared a Vitamix and this model of Blendtec. I found the Vitamix too large and heavy for me as a senior. Both had similar power but this Blendtec was easier to get thick contents out of. I put this Blendtec on my wish list and got a terrific price in a few months.

When I bought this blender off on Amazon it was great, But for some reason they kept on charging around 9 dollars in my bank account. This kept on going. This happened along time ago and I didn’t notice it until now. They kept taking my money away when I didn’t buy anything more than once. I want this to stop adding around 9 dollars in my bank account.
