    Out of shape
I purchased this product February 2013. The box arrived in good condition. The equipment was easy to put together. Now the important stuff. This machine will give you a work out. I do wish the eliptical stride was longer but it still works good.I do not hit my knees anywhere on the machine. I am 5’8″ tall and weigh 190 pounds. The bicycle part is excellent. I am out of shape so the lowest setting really gets my heart rate going. I have a bad left knee and bad right ankle and I have found this machine to be easy on both. Takes a bit to get your rhythm going but once you get the hang of it, it is fun. You can not read the monitor when cycling but I have the seat on lowest setting.I quit when I am sweating and feeling good.I have seen the reviews about the wobble and unsteadyness. It does wave a little but it is not going to tip over. Machine is very quiet. I like to do the eliptical for awhile and when I get tired I can sit down and cycle for awhile.I have not found it is much good for the arm tone up but that is not my main concern. Weight loss and cardio is the important thing to me. Very good machine for the money. I would recommend to my friends.

Great, then ok, then great again – wobble and noise issue addressed
First off, this is one of the least expensive ellipticals on Amazon and it allowed me to cancel my gym membership.Setup:- 2.5 hours (reading other reviews I wanted to make sure I did it right)- Instructions were very easy to followFirst Impression:- Very happy. I work out very hard and it handled my workout and the hardest level has PLENTY of resistance- Screen is a little hard to see but others who find this an issue can spend $1,000 on a better machine- Wobbles a little but nothing unsafeSecond Impression:- The infamous squeak began. Nothing to bad but worried me. Then it got worse and I got annoyed. My wife said she could hear it all the way upstairs from our basement; not good.- The computer beep is very loud – don’t put this in any room where you don’t want it to beepI called customer service because the squeaking was a deal breaker for me. If they could not help me then I would return it and find something else. She was very knowledgeable which impressed me. She said the problem people have is that they tighten the bolts too much. She said find the squeak and then loosen the bolts, add WD – 40 if needed and re-tighten but not too tight at all. Bingo. The two bolts on the front stabilizer were the culprits. Now the machine is quiet as a mouse. Too bad other reviewers did not call so they could save the time to repackage and send it back.Bottom line, this machine is great for the price. I will update later if anything changes.- Update: July 25, 2013 -Thought I would let you all know it is still going strong 2 years later.I have lost 45 pounds total. Granted I also run and swim and of course eat better but the machine itself has stood the test of time so far.

    Compact but flawed
I bought the Body Champ BRM3671 Cardio Dual Trainer after having gone to various stores in my area and checking out the Ellipticals there. I was actually looking for something that wouldn’t take up too much space and could be wheeled from one room to another so I could store it in one room and pull it to the TV room to exercise and watch TV. I came across this trainer which looked compact enough and had a dual purpose of elliptical and bike though it didn’t have wheels. The accompanying video looked promising too.Assembling the product was easy enough – very good instructions and all the parts and tools needed were numbered and marked. The Ist day I used it, I tried the ‘manual’ setting (it comes with manual as well as 10+ preset workouts to choose from) and the lowest level of resistance. It was easy enough as a starting point. The stride length was shorter than other ellipticals probably because of the compact nature of the machine. Not a big deal for me since I’m not tall but my sons are 6ft so for them it wasn’t the best. Moreover the machine shakes quite a bit while being used. But we felt we could live with it. But the 2nd day I tried the machine it wouldn’t work. I tried the same easy setting and this time I could barely move the pedals. At first I thought maybe my legs were tired but my sons and my friend couldn’t move it either. We tried it a third day and same thing. Something went wrong in the mechanics of the trainer. I must state that all in my family are within the weight allowed on this product.I called Amazon and they responded very quickly, kudos to them. They said I could return the product for a full refund. Moreover they sent UPS to my door to pick up the item since it weighs close to a 100 pounds and there was no way I was going to be able to drop it off at a UPS depot.Since then I’ve Googled for reviews and quite a few of them have liked it but a few have stated that it’s flimsy.Pros – Compact, space saving exercise equipment. 2 workouts in 1. Wide resistance range with quite a few preset workouts.Cons – Stride length is short. Shakes quite a bit. Broke down after just one try.
