    Quality Rack/Pull-up bar!
I have a membership at a gym but sometimes I’m not able to get over there when they’re open. So I wanted to work out at home during those times. I was looking for a good squat rack that also had a pull-up bar — and not a pull-up bar that was narrow (meaning, I couldn’t spread my arms out). When I saw the CAP Barbell Deluxe Power Cage, it quickly went to the top of my list, especially at the price point that it was listed. And since putting it together, it seems to be all that I need.It was easy to put together and didn’t take but an hour at the most (with 2 people it’ll take even less time). The materials are solid/quality. You can adjust the height of the bar holder and squat safety poles. The pull-up bar is wide. With the weights added on the bar sides, the rack becomes even more stable if you decide you want to do some “kipping”.The only downside is I had to buy the Olympic bar and weights separately. But I found a great deal at a local store. I highly recommend this if you’re a guy or gal who likes to workout regularly. If you’re a cross-fitter or want to go to the next level as far as weights, you might do well to splurge on the more expensive and “thicker” racks. I’m 6′, 184 lbs and this works well for me, whether squatting or doing pull-ups with my 20# vest.

    Perfect entry level squat rack!!!
Before purchasing this squat rack, I did EXTENSIVE research on what to buy and what to skip. This was one of the cheaper squat racks but still meeting my needs. The only thing I initially noticed was there’s only one color option but I’m also just being picky.-Let’s talk about shipping. The shipping speed was fast and arrived sooner than I thought it would. However, the packaging was absolutely obliterated. The box had old water damage that weakened the integrity of the package. The tape was half off. The seller needs to package this with those white plastic ties that go around the box.-After getting the package inside and emptied out, all of the hardware and pieces present and accounted for. Assembly was straight forward. You really have to be lacking brain cells in order to have any difficulty assembling. A lot of other people who have bought this squat rack, complain of the rack “not being sturdy enough”. This rack is pretty sturdy if you put enough effort into making all bolts and nuts super tight. If you need more stability, utilize the anchor points and attach it to the floor.-Overall, this is a great purchase and I am thoroughly happy with the rack. Seller could do better at packaging.

    Good but not great
The rack itself is great, works well enough for a “this’ll do”.Some cons:- some areas of the rack came dented, scratched, that made the bolts a tiny bit harder to get through because the metal looked flexed out.- the J hooks and spotter arms are absolutely NOT it. They dont sit flush on the rack, the back support of it feels very cheap, so PLEASE invest in some better J-hooks and spotter arms for your own safety. Some pros:- Was quick and easy to put together- does the job, still needs better hooks and arms.

All I needed was a wrench
Nice 1/2 rack for our garage gym. We needed a base that would be used primarily for squats. We also wanted a second alternative for pullups and toes to bar for my wife. Our current pull up station is above a door, so it takes quite a bit of effort for her to reach. We assembled the CAP 1/2 rack as instructed, EXCEPT we turned the pull up bar upside down, to make it easier for my wife to reach….it was the perfect height in the adjusted position. All fittings went together smoothly, I only needed a socket wrench to tighten the nuts (started with an adjustable wrench, but switched to a socket to speed up the process). The box was a bit beat up when it arrived at our door, but the unit inside did not have any scratches or dings in it, so packaging did it’s job.We do a lot of pull ups, and the rack was stable for us during the pull up reps. We don’t do much kipping type moves with our exercises, we stay pretty strict with our form. We weight 105 lbs and 152 lbs, so with the rack assembled and weighted down with 100# of bumper plates it was fine for us during our exercise movements, really no shifting at all. We did put the unit on top of a 4×8 short pile rug we got from Lowes. The rug has defied the area of our garage for our garage gym for the last couple of years, and it worked out perfectly under the CAP 1/2 rack.We really like the unit, and look forward to many years of workouts with it.

Save Your Money & Buy A Well Known Brand
Buying this “rack” was probably one of my biggest regrets of 2020. Although it was cheap and available, I should’ve just waited to buy a brand that possesses quality and outstanding customer service like Rogue. Everyday I look at this poor piece of excuse of gym equipment in my garage and it brings me down. The safety arms bend when there’s 135# on it and it feels as if it’s going to snap and cause severe injury. The metal is thin and feels flimsy. The j-cups are also of poor quality.Aside from the rack itself, customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I got this “rack” on April 21st. It’s now October 1st. I’ve been asking them to send me ONE component that went missing in the shipping process. Initially they promised to take care of it. Months go by and they said they’ll check on it. Months go by again and they say they won’t be getting this item until the end of the month. Another month goes by and someone went to go check with the warehouse. That person went to go check LAST THURSDAY. Now I think they got lost on the way back from the warehouse so they can send me an email saying they won’t be able to ship it until winter of 2021.PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. The quality is 2/10 and your chances of injury are highly likely. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM A COMPANY that is worth the wait.If someone broke into my garage, they’d see the name CAP Barbell and just take EVERYTHING EXCEPT this poor excuse for a rack.UPDATE 06/19/2021: This is still a price of crap. I took it apart and dumped it. I wouldn’t even try to sell it for $20.

Molto soddisfatto. Perfetta per fare pesi in sicurezza. Consente di essere utilizzata sia con la panca che per lo squat. Esattamente ciò che cercavo a un prezzo ragionevole.

Great weight rack for the price! Very strong and sturdy, can be bolted to floor if needed. Easy to set up, took less than an hour. Easy to use, adjust and move around. I do squats, bench press, OH press and chin-ups, works perfect for everything. Recommend this product

This is great for home use. If you are a serious lifter and weigh over 200LBs and are already squatting over 250 then you need to go for something superior to this as the catches are only rated for 300LBs.That said this is maybe overkill for beginners but great for novice and perfect for intermediate lifters. I’m not trying to squat 350+ so this is a great rack for me that allows me to push myself safely at home. I can throw more than 2 plates on an olympic bar and squat for multiple reps and feel safe with the catches. That’s respectable weight for a home gym and hobby lifter who does it mostly for health and not for chasing numbers and 1 rep max.Construction and setup was simple. I tighten the bolts a few times a year to make sure everything is solid but I’ve never really seen anything coming loose. There is a little sway with weight above 225 it’s nothing concerning. The base is huge and you don’t have to worry about anything ‘tipping’. The chin up bar is fantastic to have. The catches on the base allow you to put resistance bands on your weight as well.
