This Is Beauty And The Beast! The Obliterator Lives Up To Its Name.
Iâve been using blenders for protein smoothies for years, but my old blender struggled with ice and left chunks of fruit unblended. After it finally broke down, I resorted to just mixing water and protein powder, but the results were pretty boring. Recently, I had the chance to try the Chefman Obliterator, and it has absolutely impressed me. This blender lives up to the hype, especially when it comes to crushing ice. It easily handled the ice cubes and even managed to break up an ice ballâsomething my old blender could never do. I was really impressed with how it performed in “Ice Crush” mode, effortlessly cracking the two-inch spherical ice ball. The blending power of the Chefman Obliterator is amazing. The vortex it creates pulls ingredients down to ensure everything gets blended evenly, making my smoothies smoother than ever. The Auto Blend function is another standout feature. It automatically adjusts the blending speed and duration based on the consistency of the ingredients, taking all the guesswork out of the process. Whether Iâm using fresh fruit, frozen fruit, or even a mix of liquids and ice, the Chefman Obliterator does its job flawlessly. I even tested it without any liquids, and the blender smartly prompted me to “Add Water” when it sensed the mixture was too thick.Aside from the fantastic performance, the design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly on my kitchen countertop. Its minimal footprint makes it easy to store, but honestly, it looks so nice that I donât mind leaving it out. Cleaning is a breeze, tooâI can either use the “Clean” mode or just toss the parts in the dishwasher. The Tritan jar and stainless-steel blades make it easy to clean with no hassle. Iâm confident this blender will last a long time, and knowing that Chefman is an American company with great customer service only adds to my confidence.Overall, Iâm very pleased with the Chefman Obliterator. It has exceeded my expectations, and Iâm excited to continue using it for everything from smoothies to crushing ice for cocktails or other recipes. Iâve also included a video review where I demonstrate the blenderâs capabilities, including the ice-crushing test, so be sure to check it out for a closer look at its performance. Highly recommend this blender for anyone who wants powerful performance, convenience, and style in the kitchen.

Blends Smoothies and Crushes Ice Like a Champ
I recently got my hands on this blender, and wow, itâs got some serious power under the hood. Making smoothies is a breezeâit obliterates frozen fruit and ice without breaking a sweat, leaving no random chunks behind (a major win for me). The Auto Blend feature is super convenient because it adjusts the blending speed automatically, so I donât have to fiddle with the settings while half-asleep in the morning. Plus, the tamper tool with the built-in scraper is a thoughtful touch that makes handling thicker blends easier. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks awesome sitting on my countertop. It’s surprisingly quiet for such a powerful blender, which is great when youâre trying not to wake the whole house during a 7 a.m. smoothie mission. Cleaning is a snap with the self-cleaning modeâjust toss in some soap and water, hit the clean button, and let it do its thing. The parts are also dishwasher-safe, which is a lifesaver after blending sticky ingredients.Overall, this blender has been a great addition to my kitchen. Whether Iâm whipping up a smoothie, crushing ice for cocktails, or even blending hot soup, it gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Itâs not overly bulky, and itâs easy to store when Iâm not using it, though Iâm tempted to keep it out because it just looks that good. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a reliable blender without breaking the bank.

It’s a close second
I ordered this blender as previous reviews cite this rivals their Vitamix blenders. As a Vitamix (A2300 SmartPrep Deluxe Kitchen System) blender and other well loved Chefman products household, I was intrigued. I will be writing this review truly comparing the two but to start, this is NOT a bad blender but ANY means. Firstly, the Chefman Obliterator has a 5 year warranty, which is nice, but the Vitamix has a 10 year warranty. The color of this blender comes in concrete and midnight-while this APPEARS to be a white color, it is not, this is more of a grayish/doveish color if that matters to you. My kitchen is slate with with cabinets, this looks weird against the white, heads up. The Vitamix 2300 is 1500W motor with 23,000 RPM and the Obliterator is 1380W motor 20,000 RPM. The chefman perfectly sits on my countertop and slides just under my upper cabinets where the Vitamix does not fit. The Chefman comes with a measuring cup in the cover measuring out 1 oz and 30 ml, where the Vitamix measure 1oz AND .5oz, 30ml AND 15ml. However, a very nice feature added by Chefman is in the in the tamper-a hidden scraper is included with a twist lock into the tamper. VERY NICE TOUCH. The screen on the Chefman is beautiful and well lit. The Vitamix is one of the lower end, fully manual series so there is no screen with the exception of a count up timer. The on/off on the chefman is a toggle slide, where the Vitamix is a switch style. The manual settings are 1-5 Chefman and 1-10 on the Vitamix. The Chefman also has Automatic features: Auto Blend, Ice Crush and Clean. I have found the 1-5 on the Chefman to be comparable to the 1-10 on the Vitamix. Now to the nitty gritty-literally. I set these blenders up side by side and did a few tests. I started with my morning smoothie which has frozen whole strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen pomegranate perils, a scoop of greens, a scoop of collagen and premade protein as the base. The Chefman and the Vitamix seemed to tie in this breakfast smoothie. I had the same texture from both-with the same level of grit from the pomegranate. Next, I tested the clean feature with the same amount of soap and water-the Chefmen was quite choppy on the “clean” feature and caused soap to bubble out of the top, while the Vitmaix kept the water smooth and free from violently sloshing. That point goes to Vitamix. Then I tried the challenge smoothie-equal in each blender-green grapes, a small chopped green apple, celery, spinach, ice and almond milk. The auto blend feature did not work too well on this so I switched to a manual blend making a smoother more efficient blending experience. When poured they looked similar but you could tell the Vitamix green smoothie was smoother. The Chefman was pretty pulpy. I then made a butternut squash soup and there was a clear winner. While the Chefman did in fact make a lovely smooth soup, the Vitamix was velvety and buttery. All in all, if I never had a Vitamix, I would be over the moon with this blender. It is sleek and it performs very well. If you are purchasing this to replace your Vitamix, you will be disappointed in the decision. The price point gives the Chefman a few extra points, currently listed as $149.99 (DEAL ALERT-Walmart has this listed at $129.99 WITH A TRAVEL CUP!) compared to my basic Vitamix at $549.95 not including accessories, the Chefman is close to breaking even in comparison. If you are not looking to impress your culinary expert friends, go with the Chefman; it’s much easier on the pocket, provides a pretty close experience, truly obliterates ice as described and is a beautiful machine. If you are looking to create a Michelin Star meal, go with the Vitamix.
