I recently purchased the 22oz Ello Cooper bottle in Lilac to use for carrying water with me to campus, and I’ve been genuinely impressed with its performance and design.Great Lid Security! (A Major Pro) -The lid is the key reason I chose this bottle. There is absolutely zero leakage when the cap is closed. I especially love the security features:Fully Covered Spout: The cap completely covers the drinking spout, which is fantastic for keeping the surface clean when the bottle is in a gym bag or sitting on a desk.Easy Locking Mechanism: The lock is effortless and fast to use (it’s super easy to engage and disengage), ensuring the cap remains locked and guarantees leak-proof security when tossed into a bag with electronics.Portability and Size Recommendation -The 22-ounce size is portable and fits easily into my backpack’s side pocket. I chose this smaller size specifically because I was concerned that the larger-capacity bottles would not fit in my car cup holder. While the 22oz fits perfectly, with some room to spare even (in a 2026 Corolla), I’ve found I need more water capacity throughout the day. For my next purchase, I would definitely order the larger size and would recommend others check the dimensions against their own cup holders.Design and Durability Considerations -I have a few points about the construction that potential buyers should be aware of:Cap Alignment Issue: The screw mechanism inside the lid, which is crucial for preventing leaks, can be tricky. It sometimes takes a few tries to line up evenly and screw on properly. It’s a minor frustration, but worth noting for daily use.Exterior Scuffing: While I love the sleek look, I was disappointed that the exterior finish already shows small scuff marks after less than a week of daily use. I LOVE this bottle
Iâve tried a ton of insulated bottles and mugs over the years and this one is by far my favorite, both because itâs a straw (you donât have to tilt the mug to drink out of it you just hold it up to your mouth vertically – this is a real plus if you have ice in it, because tilting with ice sometimes means either a gush or the opening blocked by ice), and also because of the flip-cap that covers the whole top (if youâre moving through a crowd that keeps your sippy-hole nice and clean from other peopleâs germs, or if youâre on the beach or trail it keeps dirt and sand off the entire top – I love that). Not to mention it does stay very cold (as cold as any other brands Iâve tried, longer than most), and I really like having the carabiner option (in the gym you can clip your keys to it, or on the go you can clip it to your bag or pack). The powder coating is NOT indestructible, I did manage to put a scratch on one while rock climbing – cup still works fine, itâs just a cosmetic blemish, but if you know youâre going to be banging it around on rocks or metal, you might consider using a sleeve of some sort to try to protect it. Itâs nice they come in such a variety of pleasant colors, too, if you have multiple people using them or if you use them for different kinds of drinks itâs nice having them color coded (like one of mine I ONLY ever use for water, then I have others I will use for other beverages). These things are a MUST on a cruise or flight, and great if youâre on any kind of international travel when youâre active and thirsty and the last thing you need is to be sick from drinking unclean ice or water.

It will keep your drinks cold but only if its kept up right condensation from the lid will cause the lid to become wet and sometimes leak. I wouldnt say that this product is vacuum sealed by any means.
