    My doctor accepts the report
The Frontier X2 works amazingly well, especially if you need some of its key features. As an example, it allows you to send your doctor a ECG trace which is a very important feature. Frontier X2 is a great choice for people concerned about their heart health. It’s not a medical device but it gives you all the data which is required to measure your heart health such as EKG monitoring, Heart Rhythm, Heart Strain etc…Frontier X2 work well for recording HRV over the course of a full day and even during sleep. You get the full ECG recording. It gives you 24 hours continuous EKG monitoring which makes it the only device with Continuous Heart Monitoring Feature.Fourth Frontier keeps on updating firmware to address problems if any. For Rebooting, You have to press and hold the button long enough to get a forced reboot in order to start the device. Finally, Kudos to Fourth Frontier Customer Support team. They are available 24*7 to address your queries.

    Accurate!
Unfortunately, watches have never been able to read my pulse. I don’t have the strongest pulse on my wrist. This device on a chest strap is about 99% accurate, compared to watches which are only about 80-90% accurate.I have a heart condition so I wanted a more accurate way to track my heart for my doctor. It also runs a continuous monitor ECG during workouts which is pretty cool. There are additional metrics such as heart strain and heart rhythm which I’m trying to figure out. It also syncs up the heart rate with my Garmin fairly easily so I use it while running. I was able to catch what my heart does while working a 4-hour shift, and what happens while I sleep! I just use the “indoor activity” option whenever I want to track myself while resting, working, or sleeping, and I was able to show the ECG strips from the web app to my doctor.

Been using and testing this since April
Is it expensive, yes,but it is worth it ,YES .First off, this monitor is well made,I own several heart chest straps, even arm bandsand this monitor is the best in that is is really solid ,you can tell it isn’t cheap the first timeyou hold it. The strap is nice too .,doesn’t irritate.Only thing is I didn’t get cap to cover the charging port. I would preferred they usedUSB C port to charge . Charging cable is very well made ,but if you lose it you’ll have to contactcompany for replacement as its not a common connection. Rare occasions it doesn’t sync, but it eventually does .No stars taken away for these minor details because they aren’t doing the work. You can record your data without using app or needing Bluetooth or WiFior any signal, this feature alone is worth it. To start recording just hit the bluebutton twice and it will vibrate twice to let you know recording has started. Reasonthe button takes some pressure to press is—-> when monitor is in use your chest won’tshut it off when bending over or skin folding onto button or whatever ,this avoids accidentally activating the button again or shutting it down. Then when done with workout you bring up app and sync your data. App willsync data and erase data on heart strap so it will be ready for next use, soyou don’t have to do that step yourself, the app does it for you.Now you can view your data on app or internet, nice touch to have optionto view on a larger screen from PC.Plus the explanations /meanings of the readings of your data is really good, they do a great jobexplaining what everything means.Ok ,let’s talk about the ability to record and send your ECG readingto your doctor other than that’s a HUGE PLUS !Continuesly heart monitoring and live sharing is a huge plus and I don’t think people understand how important this is. Most monitors only monitor every 1 minute intervals or more and can’t do that for 24hrs straight and record it at same time and data is very accurate! Is it costly, yes,but I say it’s worth it .

    Overpriced test device
This 600$ device uses a micro usb connection in 2024.That alone should raise eyebrows. The reliability is poor at best and it doesn’t have basic functions such as measuring O2 sat, which a smart watch at a quarter of the price can do.I’m trying to think of what the use-case for this device is, but at anywhere near it’s current price I cannot find one.

Severe Rash from HRM Chest Strap (Updated)
The chest strap created a severe rash on my chest. I requested a replacement chest strap from the company (which costs $20 if purchased separately), but they balked. I provided a photo showing the rash, but that was not good enough for them. They asked me to wash the strap and wait for the rash to heal before wearing it again. Nope! I am returning it and not waiting for the strap to injure me again.==================================================================================Update on May 20, 2024:I am upgrading my product review to 3 stars due to the improved customer service response I have received from the company; this has nothing to do with the quality of the X2 HRM/ECG.Since I posted my first review, the company has reached out to me multiple times in an effort to make right on the chest strap issue. They have offered a free replacement strap, a full refund, and a discount on the purchase of another X2. I accept that they are truly remorseful for the way they handled the chest strap, and believe they *may* have learned from this experience and will do better at customer service in the future. Time will tell…I do not need the free replacement strap and do not presently plan to take advantage of the purchase discount offer.

Good ECG readings while running. Best ECG Device in USA.
I’m pleasantly surprised with the ECG quality while running. I was a little skeptical when I bought this and thought that there was no way the ECG would come through clean while running. I’ve worked with ECGs for years stress testing patients and know that ECG is often bad when jogging/running. This actually gives a clearer reading than the hospital ECGs I use at work! It’s only 1 lead, but the quality is surprisingly good. The chest strap does a good job of keeping the electrodes steady.

I jog but as I am in my 50s, there is always a niggling feeling that perhaps I am overdoing the pace or that maybe I am overlooking a pain. Frontier X2 is a must-have for those who want to be cautious and careful about their heart. It’s very easy to get readings instantly and the app linked to it is very easy to use. I have been using it for a few months, wearing it while I jog and go on walks. Frontier X2 helps me exercise safely as I can get accurate traces and send it to my cardiologist. I strongly recommend this product.

This heart monitor is easy to wear and has a great number of useful features. I really like the livestream ECG feature and the ability to be able to send information to a health professional.Customer services were really good in responding promptly to my queries about how to use the device. I also had an issue regarding the Apple Watch app, but this was helpfully resolved – it was apparent to me that the company really strives to achieve excellent customer service.

The Frontier X has been incredibly useful for my cardiac exercise program. After I had my stent placed my cardiologist told me not to exceed a heart rate of 150 bpm. This device lets you set a heart rate limit and will vibrate if you go above that number. Definitely helps give me peace of mind that I’m not overdoing it.

This is certainly not your average heart rate monitor.is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth the cost? Absolutely. From the moment you open the box you can feel the quality in everything. The strap is very comfortable & you get used to it very quickly. The monitor clips on & off of the strap which makes it very easy to clean. It was very easy to set-up on the app & also connects to my watch. the app gives you more stats then you could need, if theres something you need to see this can show you it.A fantastic heart rate monitor that if you need the data is well worth the money.

The Frontier X2 works well, the app is quite user-friendly and I love the sleek and premium design! It provides an ECG very quickly and is comfortable to wear for long periods. After a while, I even forgot it was on.The app has a lot of activities which is very useful for me as I don’t work out much but often go on long nature walks, for which the hike option is ideal. I’m very impressed by the HRV, which is more accurate than the Garmin watch I wear. Sometimes i wear it around the house and put the rest function to see if my resting heart rate is holding stable at around 60, I’m glad I can say with confidence that it is !The price may seem expensive if you compare it to other wearables, but none of them are as accurate or can provide ECG data instantly. I’m happy to recommend the Frontier X2 to anyone who cares about accurate data or has heart concerns.
