Pretty impressive for being so cheap!
I was worried this blender wouldn’t hold up too well for it being so cheap. I had a ninja blender that broke and needed something on the cheaper side to get me through until getting paid again but I’m so impressed I might just stick with this one. I put a ton of fruits in it and it did an amazing job blending it all up and making the perfect smoothie.I also love that the blender is at the bottom compared to the ninja I had that I had to screw the blender piece on top and sometimes I had put too much frozen fruits in there and didn’t make enough room for the blender piece on top to screw in and that always made me a little mad. Now that I’ve tried something different, I know what to look for when buying a new bigger one in the future. Surely not one with the blender that I have to screw on top.Another thing I love about this one is that the top is perfect for on the go. There’s a little opening for you to drink out of it or put in a straw in it. It is very convenient and super effective. Yay for yummy smoothies!

Small but powerful, so easy to make a shake, drink out of the blender glass. Also, so easy to clean!
This is just perfect for one person. I can throw in protein powder and frozen fruit to make a healthy and delicious shake. It hardly takes up any room and is so cute!

Not the best choice for a smoothie blender . . .
Let me begin by saying I did not purchase this to make smoothies. We have a NutriBullet for that. I’m a guy who bakes and cooks with allulose sweetener instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners. The holidays are coming and many of my recipes are going to call for powdered/confectioner’s sugar. That form of allulose is insanely expensive ($10-$20+/lb here on Amazon.com), and I buy granulated allulose wholesale in 25 kg bags for less than $5/lb even with shipping from the East Coast to CA. So I needed something to grind the allulose into powder form. The NutriBullet doesn’t work for this, because the blender needs to be shaken while ginding. So looking for a hand-held capable device, I came across this kitchen tool, and purchased a “used-like new” device for more than $7 less than a new one, and figured I would give it a try. I could always return it if necessary as a Prime member. It was delivered in less than 24 hours. When I unboxed it, the item had obviously been taken out of the box, but it also looked like it had never been used either. On first glance, this seems a little bit like a kid’s toy (perhaps the reason it was returned). It is lightweight, and the motor base won’t do well if it gets knocked off the counter, but it’s not a toy. It’s a pretty decent blender. I was able to powder about 5 lbs of allulose in 3/4 cup batches in about 35 minutes. I did have to shake the blender nearly horizontally, but it did exactly what I needed it to do.I would probably not recommend this item as a “portable” blender for making smoothies or other beverages, because it is a corded tool. There are any number of others in about the same price class that offer rechargeable battery power, which means you could take them to a park, the beach, or anywhere you didn’t have access to a 120vac outlet. Most also offer blender jars with screw-on lids and bases. Here are the pros and cons:PRO: (1) low price, (2) high-speed motor, (3) thick-wall blender jar, (4) reasonably easy to clean, (5) friction-fit top doubles as a travel mug spout nol likely to come off accidentally or leak (but the sliding closure is not leakproof), (6) the blender jar locks fairly securely into the motor base, and (7) the power cord wraps neatly into a slot for this purpose built into the motor base.CON: (1) corded, not portable to a location without AC power, (2a) the blade assembly is integral to the blender jar and cannot be disassembled for cleaning (2b) if the blade or blender jar breaks, you might as well throw the whole thing in the trash, (3) the motor base is not likely to survive being knocked off the counter, it’s pretty lightweight plastic, (4) the friction-fit blender jar lid does not come off easily . . . ladies, you are highly likely to break a fingernail trying if not careful (watch the comparison video with the NutriBullet and you’ll see how the demonstrator struggles a bit with taking the lid off the empty jar — imagine doing this with a full jar . . . the manufacturer’s video doesn’t even show this step, which ought to be a clue).I rated this 4-stars because it is a capable blender. It will make smoothies and other blended beverages. But I think there are a number of better choices at about the same price point for a new item. I simply opted for the 33% discount because it met my objective. If you, like I, have a need for a larger capacity grinder for spices, grains, seeds, or nuts, this should work well for that. But if your objective is something portable to make smoothies, I would look elsewhere.

Great blender just what I needed.
So far so good! Works amazing. I got this because i loooove smoothies but I live on my own and don’t need to make a whole batch. I only ever really fill this one up like a little more than halfway and it’s perfect. Also good to make salsas or other things you need a blender for, but need to keep portion sizes smaller for 1-2 people.

Wish I had bought this sooner!
I LOVE THIS THING! Perfect for mixing up protein powder drinks, ice coffees, or whatever “floats your boat”! I love the fact that the top portion can fits right into my vehicle cup holder. Easy to use and easy to clean. The lid fits VERY tight, so use caution when removing or it’s easy to spill. This is a great project at a nice price I wish I had bought sooner!!!

    CHEAP AND LIGHTWEIGHT
I bought this on PRIME DAYS and will lead with that as the price was CHEAP. I wanted a lightweight blender to take on vacation for my morning protein drink.PRO: It is CHEAP, lightweight and the color is pretty. So, it fulfilled that requirement.CON: (also a PRO) Cheap price = cheaply made, almost like a toy blender. Motor is not as powerful as the OSTER MY BLEND (purchased in 2022 and still humming along). Would not advise using a lot of ice in your smoothies. LID DOES NOT STAY ON!!! If you expect the lid to screw on, it does not. It just sits on the plastic edge. This is a spilling hazard. Recommend taking the lid off and drinking from the cup, otherwise you will be in for a big, messy surprise.OVERALL: MEH. Hence the 3 star review. It will be fine for this trip. I don’t expect it to last very long. Did I mention it was CHEAP?

    One of my fav brand!!

  8. Rima

Great product and great quality as expected

I bought this as a substitute for a big blender, expecting it to kind of work, but not super well. Honestly? I was wrong — and impressed. Sure, it struggles a bit if the mixture is too chunky, and yes, it’s very small. But wow… it seriously replaced my full-size blender.I’ve cooked so many recipes with this — not just smoothies. Soups, sauces, even a few tougher mixes, and it handled them like a champ. It’s compact, easy to clean, and surprisingly powerful for the price. It may be cheap because it’s small, but don’t let the size fool you. This thing gets it done.

Works well. Wasn’t expecting it to work as well as it does due to low price. Would recommend.
