An economy option that was still a great mask
For our familyâs Alaska trip this summer, in the Land of the Midnight Sun, we knew we would need some kind of light-blocker in order to get a decent sleep. It was really hard to tell from the photos, descriptions, and reviews, which products were actually superior, so we purchased 7 different sleep masks. After trying all of them for two weeks, we can give other buyers our comparative reviews. Listed below in rank order from our best to worst, here are the 7 masks we tried:ZGGCD⢠This was the first one that I tried, and it worked so great. After this one, the other masks were okay, but they were just not quite as good as this one. (except for MZOO which was very, very similar). This ZGGCD mask was priced fairly at $9.99.MZOO⢠Another great model. Nearly identical to the ZGGCD brand, but it has a large MZOO brand printed on the front. And it cost twice as much. (I paid $19.99)LKY⢠These masks came as a 3-pack for $9.99. They were an economical option that worked surprisingly well, and were not uncomfortable. These were unexpectedly much smaller than the other masks, but they really did work fine. The band seemed tight, but it was adjustable â I guess I just never adjusted it. These masks kept the light out, and the eye wells were deep enough. Two of my college kids liked them well enough that they borrowed these for another trip they are taking next month.Alaska Bear⢠I figured this mask was just made for the Midnight Sun! Quite a bit smaller than the extra plush masks. Not very thick either, but again to my surprise, the small masks worked just as well as the luxury models. The price for this one was on the upper end ($14.99).Zenssia⢠The satin looked and felt luxurious, and at the $19.99 price, it tied with MZOO for being the most expensive mask we tried. The velcro band stays secure, and did not get caught in my hair. The cloth over the ears actually felt nice. But, I canât say this mask was nice to sleep in. If you didnât keep the band tight, the mask sort of shifts or spins over my face as I move. And if I pulled the band tight, it seemed to put all the pressure right across my eyes. So this mask was a no-go.LitBear⢠At $14.39, this was on the pricier end. There is a nose bridge piece that helps block any sneaks of light, but I preferred the superior comfort of the masks that didnât have that extra fabric bridge, over having every last peep of light obliterated. I can say the nose bridge had a nice cool feeling that I liked. But the critical problem for me was that my lashes brushed on the inside of this mask.MABAO⢠The mesh fabric on the outside does not speak comfort, but I realize that the outside fabric does not really rub on the skin, so it shouldnât matter. However, the eye pockets in this one were just too shallow. I hadnât even known that shallow eye wells could be a problem, but I am sure glad we had other masks with the deep eye wells. We bought this MABAO mask at the budget price of $5.99I might have mentioned that I am a real mover in my sleep, and sometimes these masks fell off, but to my surprise that didnât happen often. Many in the family are side-sleepers, and none had complaints about buckles or straps pressing into their heads. After trying these 7 masks, we felt we could offer some helpful feedback to other shoppers. My best two recommendations were ZGGCD ($9.99) as the best mask of all, and LKY which was a decent and functional mask, and there were THREE masks for the same price. Then there were the three that I just could not get comfortable with: Zennsia, LitBear, and MABAO. I wouldnât recommend these. Happy travels everyone!

Like a Cloud on your Eyes!
I purchased these to try for two reasons. First was to protect my eyes at night during cold weather months when we have our furnace turned on. I have dry eyes and the furnace heat/air seems to irritate them more. The second reason is for blocking out light while sleeping, especially in the bright summer months. Our room faces east and we get the bright sunrise light right in our bedroom window in the mornings. SO, I was skeptical that these would be comfortable enough for me to sleep with on. I don’t do well with ‘gadgets’ or things on me that feel foreign while I’m sleeping. I am also a side sleeper, so I was sure I would feel these on my face in somehow, someway. BUT NO! I put these on and slept like a baby! They are so comfortable and you can barely feel them on your face, nor the strap that goes around the back of your head. The eye holes are concave so they don’t actually touch your eyes at all! The cushiony foam that does touch the outside part of your face around your eyes is so light and soft, you can barely feel it. Seriously feels like a cloud! It is completely comfortable to sleep with on your side and doesn’t feel like anything is there between your face and pillow. AND it completely blocks out the light! So mornings I don’t have to wake up early for work, I wear these and I can sleep in a little longer. I feel very rested. My eyes also seem less dry and irritated when I wake up. These are HEAVEN!!!

Price and Comfort
A reasonable price for three. I bought these for my mom and me. The strap is adjustable and the part that covers your eyes is soft. Itâs thick enough so it doesnât move around on your face at night. It works well enough so that no light gets through. Great for a nap on the hammock during the day.

Excellent product. 2d purchase.
Comfortable bought my first set 4 years ago. They last a long time. I tighten the straps as the elastic wears. Very comfortable. Blocks out all the light I want. I often wear them raised slightly off my nose so that can sneak a peak at the world. I misplaced 2 of 3 and bought these as backups.

Perfect!
These are so soft and comfortable. You can adjust them for a perfect fit so light doesnât get in. Thereâs enough room so you can blink without your eyelashes hitting the material. I machine was in cold and air dry. Sometimes I forget and they go through the dryer. Theyâre still fine! I highly recommend these!

Adjusted the Strap…Converted!
I need a sleep mask because there is too much light from electronics in my room at night – in particular a tower fan with ionic air (and a bright blue light!) which I love but which messed with my sleep. I bought these masks after encountering real sticker shock across Amazon at the exorbitant prices of others. These seemed to have a quality build and be affordable. They came quickly and didn’t have a noticeable smell. I washed them before I wore them as I tend to do with clothing, especially since these were going on my face.First I wasn’t terribly impressed. They were really comfortable and the eye sockets worked beautifully; but it seemed that whatever I did, a little light was seeping through around the bridge of my nose. Then, several weeks after getting them, I finally adjusted the strap. I admit it. I was trying to preserve the elasticity of the strap and I kept it as loose as possible. As soon as I got a clue, the mask worked as it was supposed to. Complete blackout. sigh Six months in and I’m singing with the choir.Don’t be a dodo like me. Adjust the strap properly. They work.

I recently purchased the Sleep Mask for Side Sleepers, 100% Blackout 3D Eye Mask for Sleeping, and it has been a game-changer for both me and my wife. She absolutely loves it! The material is incredibly soft and comfortable, making it feel like you’re not wearing anything at all. The 3D design ensures complete blackout, which has significantly improved the quality of our sleep. One of the standout features is how well it works with a CPAP mask. My wife uses one, and this sleep mask doesn’t cause any discomfort or interference, which is a huge plus. The adjustable strap provides a perfect fit for both men and women, ensuring it stays in place all night without slipping. The contoured design of the mask is perfect for side sleepers, offering excellent comfort without pressing against your eyes or face. It’s also lightweight and breathable, preventing any overheating during the night.
