All about saving the world but the paper straw is the bane of my existence! On my last vacation to Disney and last cruise, all of my frozen drinks came with a paper straw that were just not practical for the beverageâs viscosity. This straw has made me even greener in my travels as I now tell businesses to keep the paper straw and enjoy my sips better than ever before. Good but one flaw
The straws are good but I have no clue how the case got past product testing. I even tried lubing the grooves with some mineral oil (food safe, no odor) and it didn’t help at all. Opening this case is like trying to get out of a chinese finger trap.

This is a nice kit to have on hand in case you need a clean straw due to not washing the other ones in time. I like the case because it keeps them clean, and decreases the chance of misplacing the straws. All the pieces are well made and seem very durable.

Durable and convenient
OXO does it again. Avoided non-disposable straws because of the metal taste or harsh plastic. The rubber tip solves it all and the included brush for cleaning is awesome. Even a case to keep everything together. Well worth the price. Also fits perfectly in my large Yeti.

Most people say that the case is hard to open. They are right!BUT!!! After closing and opening it two or three times, the little plastic bits inside the case ware down slightly and make consequent openings a lot easier.PLUS!!! I found that pushing from the bottom of the case with either of your thumbs demands a lot less effort, compared to using the notch at the top of the case.Overall this duo pack of straws is the best on the market and worth every penny. The construction is great, quality is great, the ease of cleaning with the included brush is great ( like the incorporated handle ) and best of all the length of these straws is great! No more straw getting lost in a glass, like most of the shorter competitors.Great straw!(How many times did I say great? ; ])

I loathe paper straws, they ruin the drink with one sip and if you sit on your drinks like I do then you know itâs soggy within minutes.This is the solution, it comes with 2 (because you know youâll wash one and forget to put it back in the case).The carry case is sturdy and slim enough to throw in the bottom of my bag. It doesnât attract every bit of purse dirt like others Iâve tried.It comes with a cleaning brush for on the go convenience. Great for work.You most definitely will save at least one turtle.

Itâs well made, easy to wash , the rubber tip and metal straw parts can be dismantled to wash. However the texture of the rubber is matted can can trap âfluffâ from cloth or tissue.

Likes:- Plastic Trenta cup: perfect fit, fully extended. Reaches to the lowest syrup line. Coincidentally ensures a perfect sip.- Paper Venti cup: the mouth opening on the Starbucks lid needs the smallest scissor cut in order to accommodate the width of the straw (might be able to force it, but you’d need to take the lid off for that anyway, lest your favourite beverage meet an unfortunate demise).- tip of metal straw is flared, preventing the silicone mouthpiece from pulling off the straw from the top. The silicone is also hard plastic at the base, so it can’t stretch and accidentally come off.- no taste transfer with hot or cold beverages. The cleaning tool has more bristles, better spaced, than most standard straw cleaner options. It fits neatly in the case and fits the straw and mouthpiece perfectly. In its shortest ‘mode’, it did not off-balance in a smaller mug, either.- the case. Some mention it’s hard to open. I find it secure. Simply apply pressure lengthwise with your thumb (think reverse rolling). Great as it won’t accidentally open in your drawer or bag.Dislikes:- purchasing other subpar straws prior to once again entrusting Oxo for their quality and convenience points. If you’ve read this far, just go for it. You won’t regret it.
