Wow!! This bar is so good! Itâs tasty and satisfying!! When on a time crunch at work or out and about being active this bar is just the perfect combination of a protein & caffeine! NO JITTERS; as I have had with other bars that include caffeine!! Did I say the bar is tasty!! I purchased the variety pack and all flavors are SO good that I cannot even pick a favorite!! The bars are always good but this order was over the top good!! I donât know if they updated their formula but this order was even tastier. Caffeine, chocolate and protein!
I first found these at my local Fresh Market and loved the flavors and that they have chocolate and caffeine but they don’t sell them in a box so I came here to look, of course! I like the variety of flavors and that they have plant protein. I most ingest whey or meat protein but plant protein has its advantages.Yes, the texture is slightly weird but you get used to it. I keep mine in the fridge in the summer, or when I go out I always have a small cooler bag in my car for snacks and drinks; less chance of it getting super gross in the heat. I wouldn’t say they’ll replace a meal by any means but they’ll give you a boost of energy along with some protein so I feel like they’re worth the money. I certainly can’t make them at home.

These are so bad.
I bought these for a long trip and I was trying one of each. I didn’t even get through all four flavors. Banana nut was kind of edible but had such a bad chemical aftertaste I couldn’t eat another one. The dark chocolate Himalayan Salt was the best one. I don’t like chocolate at all but this one was edible for me. The next one I tried was the caramel almond sea salt and that was the last one I tried. This one was so gross and chemical tasting to me I literally had to pull over on the side of the highway and throw up because I couldn’t wash the chemical taste off my tongue. It just stuck there. I still gag when I think of it a week later. I’m not exaggerating either. I’m not sure how people eat these.

No more jitters
I usually reach for a second cup of coffee but it always leaves me feeling shaky and then I can’t sleep later. I decided to try these variety packs to see if a caffeine bar actually worked. I took one with me on a long hike last Sunday and it was exactly what I needed. It doesn’t taste like those chalky protein bricks, you can actually tell there are real nuts and seeds in there. About twenty minutes after eating it, I felt a very steady wave of energy. There was no heart-racing feeling or the sudden crash I get from energy drinks. The best part is that it didn’t upset my stomach which usually happens with bars that use sugar alcohols. Each flavor in the 8-pack was actually tasty, especially the chocolate ones. Itâs now my go-to for my gym bag because it handles the hunger and the fatigue all at once.
