For the money this thing is great and the weight is fantastic for beginners and experienced users alike.Easy to adjust (just need a box cutter or sharp scissors) – just make sure you donât cut it too short.The PVC rope and aluminum handles are nice and durable and the ball bearings definitely make the whole thing move much more smoothly than a cheap alternative.Itâs heavy enough to make learning new step patterns easy because you have good perception of where the rope is and it moves slower than a traditional lightweight rope.On the other hand, itâs still light enough that you can get it moving quite fast once youâve got your rhythm down – great for cardio and itâll have your shoulders burning after a few rounds, excellent for boxers and martial artists.I havenât used the braided rope but it seems to be of equal quality and includes a rubber protector to stop it fraying if used on concrete.If this ONLY included the PVC rope it would be worth the money, so Iâm definitely pleased with the purchase.Would definitely recommend – especially at this price.

I recently tried the Redify weighted jump rope and itâs quickly become one of my favorite workout tools. The rope gives plenty of resistance without being so heavy that it slows me down.
