I bought this bike hoping it will help me as I am recovering from a total knee replacement. I can use the bikes at the physical therapy center very well and have no problem doing the assigned program and time. Unfortunately, that brand of bike is over $7,000 and way over my budget.I am 5ft.6in. tall and due to previous back injuries, it was recommended I get a recumbent bike. I tried going to local sporting goods stores to check recumbent exercise bikes out, but only one store had any in the store. I even called bike shops in my area but recumbent exercise bikes are not carried in any of them. I had to rely upon reviews.On this bike there is no way to raise and lower the seat height except to slide the seat forward or back on the slide mechanism. First time on the bike, I could reach the pedals, but to do so and not hyperextend my legs, I had to slide the seat closer to the pedals. That forced the bend in my knee to be greater than I could bend it yet. I am hoping it will get better with time. My range of motion in my surgical knee is currently 100-104 degrees on my own. With my physical therapist pushing on the knee, it is 115 degrees. After discussing it with my physical therapist, I added cushions to the seat and if I go very slowly on the bike, I âCANâ make a full rotation, but to do so, I am currently swaying side to side on the cushion to get the bend in the knee to make a full rotation of the pedal and not torque the knee doing so. I hope is as my range of motion increases, I will not need as many cushions and wonât have to sway side to side.UPDATE: After several months of working on the bend in my knee, I can now ride this bike. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me how to set the resistance at the lowest level and I now do almost 15 mins. on the bike. Having to work on the bend of the knee after a total knee replacement calls form me to do 15 mins. on the bike at a time. This bike, having magnetic resistance, requires a lot more from my leg than a flywheel bike does. In the end, it helps my knee.

After trying this model out at my physical therapist’s office, I HAD to get one of my own!Honestly, I LOVE this bike!(I previously had a traditional, upright exercise bike that I rarely used because it was difficult to get on and off of it. Also, even though it had a “wider, more comfortable seat,” it hurt my butt. Ugh!)So, THIS bike is not only easy to get in and out of (just step in and step out–no climbing), the seat is COMFORTABLE! It is like an ordinary lawn chair with a padded seat. JOY!As a result of the way more convenient and comfortable ride this bike offers, I look forward to exercising with it most days for 50-60+ minutes.Another really great thing about this bicycle is that you can still ride it when the power is out! The electronic programming will not work, of course, but the pedals and flywheel are operational.The programming is a bit complicated, but the bike comes with a concise instruction manual that helps. Once you get the basics down, it’s easy.Assembly instructions are good, and all parts and necessary tools are included. Everything is wrapped separately and carefully to avoid any possible damage.The bike is quite heavy, so it really helps to have two people putting it together.After assembly is completed, the back of the bike can be easily lifted up by one person, using the built-in lift bar, and rolled into the desired room/position.There is a shallow shelf between the upper handlebars for a cell phone, tablet, or other skinny devise, and a water bottle holder on the main support tube. The seat distance is fully adjustable; I made marks for my husband and myself on the seat support slider with a Sharpie pen, so we can easily return the seat to the distance that fits us individually.Operation is silent.This recumbent exercise bike is one of the best investments we’ve ever made. Right now, the arthritis in my knees prevents me from walking or jogging for exercise, and this bike allows me to get the exercise I need and want without causing pain and further damage to my knees. (After surgery, I will surely continue using my bike.)HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Peso 120 kg y mido 185 cm, la he usado una hora al dÃa todos los dÃas durante un mes. Me encanta que tiene la opción de “quick Star” , lo presionas elijes la resistencia y empiezas a entrenar. La silla es bastante cómoda, sobretodo el respaldo, casi para los 50min, me empieza a molestar los glúteos el asiento, pero bueno es más el hecho de que peso 120 kg jaja, la distancia de los pedales es fácil de ajustar, a mi en la máxima me queda bien siendo alto.Eso sÃ, si no eres bueno armando rompecabezas las instrucciones no son claras, tarde más tiempo en decifrar que hacer solo con las imágenes que armandola, pide ayuda! Igual una vez captando no es dificil de armar, pero eso si , si eres débil serÃa mejor que alguien te ayude pues hay partes que pesan.Igual ya armado el producto le doy 5 estrellas

This baby will last forever, it is very sturdy.The setup went well, and if you take the time to carefully read the assembly instructions, you should not have any issues. The drawings on the instructions manual could be a little big bigger.The mechanism to move the seat back and forth is very easy and very sturdy. Clearer instructions would be nice to setup the computerized programs the way that you desired.But overall, this is a superb piece of equipment, and I strongly feel that I will never have any mechanical issues with this machine.

I can compare this bike to the Schwinn bike, this Sunny bike has a much smoother pedal, the seat is way more comfortable too than the schwinn. I am honestly quite pleased with this bike. It was easy to assemble for me, but I can see how the directions provided could be an issue for someone that is not mechanically inclined⦠the visual instruction aid was very small, and lots of words to sift through to assemble⦠so, I can see that being an issue for some. However, it took me 45 min to assemble once I got all the parts out of the box and protective coverings.
