Favorite sleeping mask, from someone who has tried them all
I wear a sleeping mask every night. Over the years, I’ve tried 4 or 5 different masks off of amazon, along with plenty of random masks from airport stores etc., and this is my favorite. Here are some of the reasons why:It blacks out light completely. No tiny streaks of light peeking in on the sides.It’s comfortable. The material is very soft, so if you sleep on your stomach (like I do), you can plant your face into it and it just feels like a pillow. There is a dimple in the middle so that the foam doesn’t push up on your eyeballs.It doesn’t move around. I roll around a lot and it’s generally right in place when I wake up.The strap is adjustable, you can make it as tight or loose as you want to fit your face.It lasts. You can wash it in the washing machine if it gets gross. It comes out of the dryer fluffy and clean. I bought my current one two years ago, have worn it basically every night, and there are no signs of wear. The elastic is still strong, no seams or threads fraying.In other reviews, I’ve seen some people complain generally about sleep masks pushing on the bridge of their nose and causing discomfort (I read a TON of these reviews while looking for the right mask). In my experience, most masks do that, and this one does push a little on your nose, but because the outer fabric and inner foam are so soft, I think it’s less bothersome with this mask than some others.

8 YEAR TESTIMONY
I bought this item 8 years ago and I ordered a new one recently to replace it. My old one was in decent condition after all these years, except the strap has stretched out and became too loose. I also sent it through the wash cycle even though the instructions say not to, but it’s lasted this long anyways. If you are on the fence about whether or not to buy it, I highly recommend it because it is soft, comfortable, conforms well to the face/nose and most importantly, it blocks out all the light. I can’t sleep without it. Quality looks the same as it was 8 years ago.

Five Stars Just Isn’t Enough – Hands Down The Best Sleep Mask Ever Made
If I could, I would give this more than five stars. This is my second Tempur-Sleep mask. I bought my first one 11 years ago from Brookstone’s at a local mall and it would have lasted longer if my son’s puppy didn’t get to it.I work nights and sleep during the day and this blackens the room completely without having the mask touch my eyelids like cheap masks do which annoys me and is not comfortable. Since it is Tempur material inside, it warms and softens and conforms to your face very comfortably and only rests above the eye brows, around the eyes and across the high cheek and bridge of the nose. It has an elastic velcro strap to tighten as much or little as your like.I have found over the years if I change my schedule to sleep at night (vacations), I cannot sleep without this and I have seriously become dependent on having it at home or when I travel. I keep it clean by wiping the inside edges with a damp cloth once or twice a week. In my humble opinion, this is the best sleep mask ever made.

Changed but not for the better
Sad to say that Tempur-pedic has changed the quality and material in this mask…and not for the better. I have bought about 8 of these masks over the last 10 years and have always loved them…but this new one is lighter and not as contoured as previous models and the once plush outer material is now a thin shell of material…what a shame to ruin a product. Perhaps they wanted to keep from raising the price or maybe they just decided that they could produce an inferior product and live on their reputation. Well I realize I am just one customer and you probably don’t care much if you lose me as a customer, but I will continue to let anyone interested in knowing what a pile of crap you are producing.

The best sleep mask, period
I’ve purchased several of these over the years. Not because they need replacing but because they keep getting stolen! I usually keep one in my guest bedrooms and one in the living room in case someone (or myself) want to nap there. Once people use them once, they really want to keep them.First, it’s super comfortable. When you put it on, it gently hugs your face in a way that’s easy to ignore. Speaking of ignore, even better is that it blocks 100% of all light. This is what really amazes people. When I say 100%, I mean 100%. It can be a bright summer day with all the blinds open and when you put this on you cannot tell if your eyes or open or shut. If you wake up wearing it, there’s no way to know what time it is or if the sun is out until you take it off. It makes it possible to sleep anywhere no matter what the lighting conditions are like.I buy these as gifts and I carry them on every plane ride. They’re amazing and there’s nothing out there better.

I have tried several different sleeping masks. The common issues I faced in some shape or form were fixed with this sleeping masks, finally. This sleeping mask……is comfortable enough to fall asleep with it…does not slip away during sleep…properly blocks out sunlight…and most importantly, does not press against your eyes, which can be very irritating.As a bonus, it was actually a little nicer to my sensitive skin than others. The cons are the price and the rather, to be blunt, ugly design. It’s not pretty, and it costs a bit more than I would have liked, but I’m glad I finally found a mask I’m actually completely happy with.Also, I machine wash it, and it works great. I still don’t know why the instructions say you’re not supposed to do that. It works for me.
