Gluten free and prediabetic – love these!
I recently learned that I am prediabetic, so the granola bars and protein bars I was eating previously were no longer going to be a part of my diet due to the high amounts of sugar and carbs. I was SO happy when I found these protein bars that are vegan, gluten free, AND low carb. I’m a vegetarian that has trouble digesting whey, so I’m always looking for vegan options. These taste great and don’t spike my sugar. I eat them when I wake up and then eat breakfast an hour later. I have also tried the cookie dough flavor but I think I prefer the donut flavor the most. These are awesome!

Best tasting protein bar I have ever tried and it doesn’t cause my sugar level to rise hardly at all
I’m diabetic and wanted something fairly low for net carbs and I found these in a local convenience store. The protein and carbs numbers were what I was looking for I tried them to see the effect on my blood sugar. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and my blood sugar hardly went anywhere. They are fairly small but really do fill you up. I first tried the Smother Fudger peanut butter and the Daydreaming about donuts ones, as this was all the store had in stock. Both of which were very good, I couldn’t pick a favorite. Afterwards, I looked them up on Amazon and found the other flavors. I ordered the two I had already tried and also ordered the cookie dough ones and the ‘Get in my belly, PB and Jelly’ ones, as I love PB & J. When they arrived, I couldn’t wait to try them and, boy, was I right. The PB&J ones were so incredibly good and sweet tasting, I felt like I was cheating, but I wasn’t. I know there are a couple other flavors but I haven’t tried those yet but I will be ordering them to try as well. The PB&J are without a doubt my favorite, and the other 3 flavors are a close second. I use these now as meal replacements and they work great. You will not be disappointed. They are a bit higher priced than some others I’ve tried but none are as delicious as these ones. I feel they are worth it.

Extra minty
My only complaint about these bars is that theyâre kinda small for the price. I wish they were a bit bigger, but they are quite filling for at least a good 2-3 hours. These do have a strong taste of mint so if you donât like mint you might not like them. I like these bars they taste delicious and donât have that weird after taste some protein bars have.

Inconsistent quality
I bought a box at Costco that was sealed (clear plastic wrap). It had a mix of the PB & J, and Cookie Dough flavors. They were both wonderful and I love the texture. Then I come to Amazon here and purchase a box of the Daydreaming About Donuts flavor. It came without the clear plastic wrap and the flavor was horrendous! Tastes like chemicals, smells like plaster. 🙁 Did I get a bad batch? Did the lack of clear plastic wrap effect the freshness or quality of these? No idea.

I love the TRUBAR protein bars.
The TRUBAR vegan bars are my go-to emergency rations. I count on them to keep me going. I love ALL the flavors, even ones you might find odd. I can’t believe these things are made out of such healthy ingredients!

The vegan protein bars are really good and tasty. If you are a mint lover you will enjoy the flavor and taste. They are just very expensive in my view for the quantity received, only 12 small bars which is why it doesn’t get 5 stars

The wife and I love these bars, and can’t get enough. They taste great, and we don’t get bloated afterwards! We’ve tried other protein bars, and Trubar are the best. We love the Mint, but also regularly buy the PB&J. We keep them in the fridge as they taste great cold. Definitely highly recommend!!

They claim to use organic cane sugar in their description, however, on the box I received, it says SUGAR. I contacted them to see why the discrepancy but they didn’respond. I see also a person below has posted pictures and it shows the same on their box.Integrity and great customer service is the most important ingredient I don’t see either from this company.If they are lying about this what else are they lying about.
