These are great gym shorts. I have about 8 pairs of them and have been wearing them regularly for a couple of years now. They are comfortable, durable, and have just the right amount of stretch. They work well on every exercise, including full-depth squats, which can really test a pair of gym shorts’ limits. I am also an avid runner and have no issues wearing these on my frequent 5-10 mile runs. The large fit me the best. I am 6’1″ / 225 lbs / about 7% body fat. They are pretty basic, but they are comfortable and have good pockets.

These initially felt a little 90’s swishy pants to me when I opened them and they were fairly wrinkled. A quick wash and the wrinkles came out. They say to hand wash but I just threw them on a delicate cycle and hung them to dry. Wore them to Disney World and put 20,000 steps in a 12 hour day in them. These things are great! They were so light and breathable. Did I sweat in them? You bet I did. Did they dry super fast? You bet they did. I never once felt like they were riding up or bunched up my boxers like my $60 Under Armour golf shorts did the next day at the park. I never noticed the infamous 90’s swishy pants sound while walking all those steps. And believe me, my two daughters certainly would have pointed that out. I was able to keep my money clip and Pixel 5 XL in the front pockets. I never once felt worried that my phone would fall out of my pocket. Even with the extra phone weight I didn’t have to tie the drawstring. I didn’t think that the pockets were sagging either with the extra weight. I’m 5′ 9″ 182 lbs with an athletic build (I could spare to lose 5-10 pounds in the stomach) and I measured myself as a medium. So that is what I ordered. I will say that they are a bit if a slim/tailored fit and the bottoms were definitely an inch or so above my knees. That’s what I wanted so I am happy I went with the medium. I’f your roughly my size and like more room for physical activities then order a large. I would highly recommend these shorts and am actually looking for a second pack to buy. I just wish the sold a navy and dark gray pack.

7/13/25 These just arrived and Iâve just unpacked them so far but first thing Iâve noticed that I didnât expect was they have a zipper pocket in the center of the rear. 1 – a zipper pocket is great. 2 – but the pocket in the middle of the rear is an odd place. Not sure how I like it being where Iâll sit on what I put in thereâ¦.Update:7/15/25Well update: wore these for the first time today and can tell theyâre made in china. Theyâre not as undersized as most Chinese clothing Iâve gotten but theyâre more like a weird 75% of the size.Like usually xl sizes (like I bought of these) fit just fine⦠these fit but tighter but they still fit. But the inside of the pockets are definitely pretty snug.12/24/25 update:So odd update, find and dropping of a star.Now Iâve worn these a few times and they have the first odd part that makes it obvious they are/were made in Asia. Theyâre an odd & off 1/2 size. Like a 42 is actually a 43.And biggest downfall for them I found on the night of this review update. I was taking them off and caught a stitch and the stitch pulled out immediately and easily. With no real aggressive movements or pullingâ¦. And it pulled easily a few inches.I lopped off the thread that pulled but itâs obvious the stitching is not the greatest per usual with Chinese made fabrics.

Perfect for Summer
The,”Quick Dry Athletic Shorts Lightweight Running Shorts with Pockets” are excellent quality construction, material, and fit. I’ve already worn and laundered mine numerous times with no fading or apparent diminished wear. They are very comfortable and dry quickly if used in wet situations. The pockets and elastic drawstrings are very handy and make for easy use. I would definitely buy again.

There is no difference between the Grey and Light Grey so now I have three pair of the same color.Good shorts just poor description of colors. Also check your laptop vs cell phone Amazon prices, they could be cheaper on one compared to the other!

Very similar to the Nike runner shorts. They are a little longer but the feel amazing. Go true to size.

These are good shorts on the whole, especially for the price. They stretch well, move well, and seem tough enough to handle what I intend to put them through.That said, depending on your preference in apparel, these may be really annoying to you day to day for leisure and casual use. For a big-sized short, the pocket openings are undersized. I can’t slip my 2XL hands into them without effort, and there’s no stretch in the aperture. This is one area where the North American brands still have them beat. Larger shorts should not only have larger pockets, but also larger openings for those pockets. You’ll be fine if you can wear S/M/L gloves. Not sure about XL hands.One other minor note: on the recommendation of other reviewers, I sized up from my traditional L/XL to XXL. I actually wish I hadn’t. The drawstring seems less sturdy and consistent at max tightness, meaning you have to really ace it with the knot and tightness on these.

I’m 6’4 and I ordered large, thought I would look fly like the boys in the photo but the friggen things go down to my knees. I woulda chucked em but I have this Hawaiian shirt that looks dope with the orange ones.
