Here are three things I love about it: 1.) It’s quick! There is no pre-heating with this machine and it cooks food so incredibly fast. The Parmesan asparagus I made only took 3 minutes to cook and tasted delicious. (That would have taken much longer if boiling, baking, or sautéing.) 2.) It’s safer than a microwave. Air fryers use convection waves as opposed to actual micro waves. Don’t ask me the science on this one but I’ve always heard microwaves are terrible for you and now I reheat my food with the air fryer. (Ex: I’ve reheated leftover meats and they taste like they were just freshly cooked.) 3.) It’s a healthy alternative to deep-frying. Rather than submerging foods in oil to achieve the crispy and fried taste, you simply just spritz food with a little olive oil (depending on the food you’re making.) The food is evenly cooked and tastes crisp! I will say this machine was a little bit of a learning curve for me (but honestly, what kitchen gadget isn't?) I tried three recipes from an air fryer magazine and I burnt every single one of them because I didn’t realize just how fast the food cooks. I just cut down the recommended cook times significantly and that fixed my user error. My recommendation is just to watch your cook times until you get used to using it. The timer feature is super helpful because then it will auto-shutoff. I do wish there was a window to view the food but you can just simply pop open the fryer and push it back in with no problems. Sometimes those cook windows in machines get hard to clean anyway. Lastly, the 7 qt size isn't large enough to fill an entire bag of frozen fries but because this cooks so quickly, you can do two rounds in no time.     I have only used the air fryer three times. But I love it. It is simple to use, incredibly easy to clean and so far so good. I cooked chicken thighs last night. The air fryer suggested 350 degrees for 25 minutes. I did turn the chicken over about halfway through. I also sprayed the chicken with extra virgin olive, which the recipe also suggested. They were very crispy and cooked all the way through. The chicken was very moist and I was happily pleased. Very moist. I believe the next time I will cook it for twenty minutes. It was a little over crispy, but the chicken itself was moist and cooked perfectly. I only used seasoning and did not use the recipe with breadcrumbs or Panko. You might be able to judge your time more accurately knowing the chicken only had spices. I used another recipe and modified it. I purchased a prepared pizza crust. Cut it into six sections. I used shredded chicken. Added equal parts of sriracha and honey, salt, and pepper. Mixed well and put one tablespoon into each section of the pie crust and sprinkled with cheese. I prefer mozzarella. Bushed with egg whites. Baked at 350 for 20 minutes. My grandkids loved them. I made them for an after-school snack. Absolutely will make these once a week with varing the fillers. I intend to use shredded pork that I have in my freezer. Pre-cooked. So I just have to add additional toppings to spice it up or down. It is so easy and fast. I also have pre-cooked onions and peppers in my freezer that I can add to the pork or chicken. I wanted to try this or similar recipes with biscuits for a creative change. I love the air fryer.

    I want to say, this arrived in good condition. Works great.
    However, I asked around a lot before I bought it. I was told this kind doesn't smoke. Lol!!
    It smokes. May not see the smoke but, it smokes as it alerts the smoke alarm about 3 feet away. I even turned the ceiling fans on beforehand. Moved the air fryer so the vent was in the opposite direction. The smoke alarm still goes off.
    Now, the cooking process is wonderful! Less time in cooking. Food stays relatively warm while cooking other things up for a meal. I have only cooked frozen foods in this as of yet. I use a temperature of 370. Plus, I have never had to go over 10 minutes. At 5 minutes, I usually pause and turn items over or shake.
    It says to preheat. I have done that. I am not sure if it makes a difference or not.
    I enjoy cooking in this and I am happy that I have it.

    Fastest air fryer ever, great when the switch doesn't fail (replacement available)

    This is by far the fastest air fryer we or anybody we know has. Whatever the instructions say, take off 25-50% off the time and check it. Massive capacity as well, although we use with only a single layer so that may be part of the reason for the fast cooking. Only issue is our one unit has the safety switch fail and had to be replaced a few times, which I believe is a combination of poor design (switch set a little too low so can wear out the trigger plastic and fail to engage and the first one just failed internally). Luckily Amazon sells a replacement switch that is pretty easy to get to after removing all screws on the bottom of the over.     I did a lot of research and found that this air fryer suited my needs. I made a tender delicious pot roast and another time tater tops. It has a lot of room for cooking and easy to clean. Would like more inserts but only a few as a backup. The price is over $30 and I don't need that many. Still don't know why the circle with various cooking symbols don't stay on so I can press what I want.
